  1. Hi NicyX, We went to Mexico in May 2008 and stayed at th Gran Bahia Principe Coba. Everything about our Mexico hol was perfect so I thought this would be the place to get married. I must say having to have the blood tests has put me off looking more into Mexico Weddings. I havn't actually mentioned Mexico as a destination to my Fiance because of this. I therefore went back to the drawing board and I am now focued on Sandals Whitehouse. It will probably only be the two of us or a couple of friends with this as after all it is our honeymoon as well and we don't want the fuss of family etc as at the end of the day it is about us two. Hopefully it will be Sandals Whitehouse in either November 2011 or April 2012. Off to Australia for a month in November this year and skiing in March 2011 so it has put the wedding date back!.
  2. Hi LynnieS, I was looking at Mexico to start with as we travelled their for a 2 week holiday in May 2008 and stayed at the Gran Bahia Principe Coba and had a great time. I then realised you had to get blood tests done and this totally freaked me out!! I am not that bothered about needles but I have never had a blood test before!! I am sure Mexico will be a great choice for you. You can always go to Sandals Whitehouse for an anniversary holiday. Kim.
  3. Hi Mekanabr, I am from a little town in England called Lowestoft. About 150 miles from the Capital London. Never been to the Isle of Wight but heard it is lovely. I know 12 years this June. We are both still young, me 27 and my other half 30. We are holiday fanatics so wedding has not had much thought. We are definetly not interested in the traditional church wedding and spending a fortune on paying for other guests to eat and drink so hopefully going to be off to Sandals Whitehouse. Kim.
  4. Hi, I am from England and most of the wedding brochures state that to get married in Mexico a mandatory blood test for the bride and grooms is required upon arrival in Mexico which is done in a hospital in Cancun and costs I am sure around $190 each for the bride and groom. I am not sure if this is the same for other countries but is anyone from the UK aware of this. This has totally put me off getting married in Mexico and I have been there on holiday and loved it. Thanks Kim.
  5. I don't know why the "cool" symbol is displaying but where the cool symbol is displayed the number is "8". Kim.
  6. Hi, I have my heart set on having my weddingmoon at Sandals Whitehouse. I have not found the Sandals Wedding info on their website that helpful but I have managed to find some more info regarding photograph packages. I have seen that there is an option to purchase the: Simply Romantic $1200 You’ll take pleasure in (36) 5x7 prints and (6) 8x10 prints in an exquisite ivory & gold matted album. You’ll also receive(42) digital negatives. - which is good as you also get the 42 photos on CD so you can make extra copies. I have also seen you can purchase: Feeling creative? Produce your own WeddingMoon album by selecting images with our a la carte pricing... (1 5x7 Prints & Standard Album $355 (24) 5x7 Prints & Standard Album $460 (36) 5x7 Prints & Standard Album $650 (4 5x7 Prints & Standard Album $820 (6) 8x10 Prints & Standard Album $150 (12) 8x10 Prints & Standard Album $290 (1 8x10 Prints & Standard Album $410 (24)8x10 Prints & Standard Album $510 Do you know if you can just purchase individual photos at a rate per photo to be put onto a Cd (and what cost) and then get them printed back home or whether you can pay to get say 5x7 individual photos printed and then make you own wedding album up at home (and what cost for each printed photot). Thanks Kim.
  7. Hi, I am Kim. Me and my fiance have been together for nearly 12 years (and I am only 27) and got engaged in March 2008. We are from the UK but I am hopefully going to be having my weddingmoon at Sandals Whitehouse in November 2011 or April 2012. We are holiday fanatics so keep saving for big holidays (off to Oz for a month in November this year) so it keeps putting us off saving for the wedding but I am now def ready to tie the knot. I am hoping it will just be the two of us or with another couple who are our best friends. Kim.
