Hey everyone, there is no vendors fee that has to be paid for the florist i dont know about the photographer i have never asked i need to find out. Nicole is a very nice girl she is very helpful and you have a wonderful property. When i met with Nicole she knew Grande garden would be my florist she said that was fine there is no fee, also another thing i discovered is you can do gift baskets Grande Garden does them they look great but to cut cost what i decided to do was to take gift bags of my choice meaning my wedding colour and just have them deliver the stuff and my bridesmaids will pack them. I guess if u want the trus Caribbean feel u can have them pack it in baskets which will cost u more than just taking down the bags. Contact them for gifts the prices are not bad. Take care everyone

Thats correct they do not do a program, you will have to do your own I met Yolandi in Jamaica she is a very nice planner very frank will tell you what works. Have a wonderfulday if you are using the hotels photographer Gary is the best I viewed their work while i stayed there. Grande garden is their florist cannot say enough about how great they are ..They R the best!!!

Also if you are using Grande Garden for flowers they have her cell number that they can get a hold of her and have her call you, this i have also done. She is a great girl does a good job!! dont give up on her! Let me know if you get her.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding I wish you all the best try not to be stressed although i will need a chill pill when my day comes but so far all is well with me. I have great experiences with them so far excellent work good communication cant ask for better but would love to communicate with anyone else who is working with them.

Hey Everyone u must be wondering where i went, I am still here just busy with my planning and my job. I hope all is going well for everyone all is great with me Jamaica is still number one i was at the hotel recently met with Nicole she is great! My florist Grande Garden is exceptional my main contact is Natalie she is fabulous could not have made a getter choice. If u r contemplating a florist u need to consider them Natalie's contact is [email protected]. My location is the lazy river i am going to be using roman coloumns with flowers at the top i am so excited, the bridge is gonna have vines running down the rails WoW!! can't tell u everything not to mention the reception at the steakhouse. Another thing she also does jamaican gifts. I have got to run but life is GOOD!

Hi everyone, I have been so busy at work that i don't have alot of time to write but i do read the reviews. Lady D Spring farms is at the top of my list because what i like is a villa setting very intimate I have secured the catering and all the other vendors. Everything is going fine with me I am working with Grande garden on my flowers and they are very good and responsive in working with my budget. At Iberostar you do not have to use the flower studio you can use Grande Garden which is better in the quality work as far as I am concerned, Tai Flora is good but i have heard some horror stories about them and timeliness and do not want to be worried on the day of my wedding.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to everyone about my trip I had to pay for the time off I had alot of work to do to catch up. It was really lovely, I am thinking of having my reception at the Rosehall Resort and Spa (Hilton Resort) , a private villa at Spring Farms or the Ibero Star, my father likes the Round Hill as he came with us. We met with alot of vendors my favorite photo company remains Michael Chen which was very good I don't think his website does him justice any at all i viewed some of his work he is spectacular i would say along the same line as Sungold but very nice to work with. He has the latest equipment does not do any other wedding but yours on the day. If something needs touching up he can do that as well to make it all fabulous, his number is 876-952-6740 or 876-463-1111. The hotels in jamaica are very beautiful I hardly saw any that did not appeal to me it all boils down to what you are looking for. I met with both Kimoya and Nicole from the Grande and Suites they were both a great!! I met with Flower Studio they do Ok work but she did not convince me she was capable of doing everything as she referred me to someone else to do some things. I met with Tai Flora as well very Good work however they are known to be late and also not good on getting back to you I heard of one case which was not very good so I am not going to gamble my Day as it is very special. I met with Grande Garden they had no competition their work was the same as Tai Flora in terms of rating they can do anything you other than set up people which Tai Flora uses. Again we must always remember rain if it seems its gonna raun they take an indoor arch as back up for you Tai Flora doesn't this would have to be a request. I met with entertainment people as well and I have contacted someone who will be doing a Reggae band for me at a very reasonable cost.I also contacted a planner she is Great just in case the planner in Jamaica is not getting back in time she follows up with them on a monthly basis submitting a monthly report to me at a cost of US$20.00 which is cheap to pay to ensure everything goes right, when it gets closer to the wedding two months I pay her US$200 to go on site meet with the planner go through my contract speak with all the vendors and ensure my wedding is what I expect this will take the form of a weekly report then and a week before arrival all will be complete payment is sent directly to her account. She also puts you in contact with direct vendors in Jamaica so you can get your gifts for guest and JUTA drivers to arrange tours for the group or transfres from airport. These vehicles are very nice no old ones my drivers name was Jermain he is a very professional person and trained by the Jamaican Tourist government his contact is 1876-783-2975. To be quite frank I did see Floral Studios work and in comparison with Grande Garden they are a 5 on the ten scale you might want to take a look at GrandeGarden::Front Page or speak with Michelle her email is [email protected] they are great they are presently working with Nicole on a wedding thats what Michelle told me. For the other wedding Michelle went onsite and took photos that she sent to the bride and made her suggestions for decor now I think you can't get better that that. Its always good to have choice check them out I will be posting my reviews between tonight and tomorrow but it was a Successful trip Jamaica was a good choice. Bye

By the way my planner is great you ladies should do this bridesmaid service its an inexpensive planner that goes to the resort and finds out what is going on with your wedding takes onsite photos for u of the area checks with your wedding planner at the hotel every month she keeps them on their toes and its cheap. Thanks for getting back to me on Tai flora, I spoke to Kimoya and she told me about Grandegarden because their florist cannot do some of these arrangements that Grandegarden and Tai Flora can do and doesn't have some of the props. Tai Flora is great but I hear they have a tendency to be late, Kimoya directed me to the Grande garden website which is great!! and I contacted a natalie that works with them and she is also very personable apparently they do flowers for Hilton but will go to any hotel to do flowers because. Visit their site guys well this is my last posting until Monday when I get back from Jamaica, I will be meeting with them as well as other vendors and I am looking at other hotels too. Have anyone viewed the photographer Michael Chens website, he is just as good as Saab and Sungold and gave me better pricing, very humorous person. Bye got to do last minute packing.

Sorry I took so long was not checking this link Alicia is Great!!! she has assisted a friend of mine while at a hotel and she has worked with brides independently you can reach her on this email [email protected]. My friend had bought a cheap ticket for her and got her to come up to the states, she found her own occomodation for a week she went to my friends dress fitting and shopping for a few stuff for the wedding as its cheaper to take down a few stuff than to buy them locally. She was like heaven sent!!! Let me know if you get her and whats going on. She really pampers you. Asheeki

Hi Congrats I too am looking at Iberostar i have spoken to Kimoya there about my wedding site visit it seems divine she has sent me a few emails and has introduced me to Grande garden as a florist as the one they offer there is very basic and certain things she cannot recreate and doesn't have the equipment or cannot get it. I will be going down next month will share all my ideas with you.

Why don't you try a vendor outside the hotel maybe they will help you to cut cost. Normally the vendor will do chair covers and such are florist, I must confess I have had a very good follow up from Grande Garden just setting up my site trip they have chair covers and do great flowers take a look at their website. Tai Flora does a great job but falls short in communication. I might be going to jamaica as soon as this weekend if my boss approves. I can give you better words on these people, i will also be meeting with other vendors, please share any info i might need to look into.

I might be a bit late but although I am going to a resort I have a local planner thats been fabulous. Let me know if you still need one

I have heard wonderful stuff about Coyaba that its a nice resort, Sungold work is fabulous and I definately plan to meet with them have spoken to them in Canada as they spend time there. A fabulous florist is Grande Garden based on a few brides I have communicated with they are just as good ad Tai Flora but give a personal touch. All this I will confirm if its gospel when I get back from my visit to Jamaica this month. If there is anyone else you have heard of please let me know as music, flowers, photos and food are important to any wedding/reception.
