I would definitely call. We had our date confirmed prior to the change. I did receive an email after the change just informing us of the change and they assured me everything was still good and to be patient with them. What did you think of the property?

Ladies, just spoke with my TA and he is doing a site visit June 19-22 so I'll hopefully get a full report from him prior to my visit. I expressed my frustration of still not recieving the new prices, etc. I'll keep you posted

I've decided on not having assigned seating so that means no table #'s or place cards, no toasting flutes as that is just more to pack and the resort will have them, and no cake cutting set ... same excuse as the toasting flutes. I figure less to worry about and I can check it off my list! We just sent our invites a few days ago so we'll see how people are about responding and booking. We hope to only get 10-15 more.

Hi ladies!! In regards to waiting on getting your FI suits, something to keep in mind is they'll stop carrying lighter weight suits towards the end of summer and all that will be in stock will be winter suits. Once I told my FI that, it convinced him to go ahead and buy one. Check!

I would definitely call. I have the # at work so I'll post it tomorrow. Especially if you want to do a site visit. I think we all are in the same boat of not getting many responses lately. I did get the sales manager call me and she basically said they are all trying to learn how things are working now and that its right in the middle of the busiest wedding season for them, to give them some time but assured me that everything will be taken care of. I'm going in July so I'm trying not to stress about them not responding in hopes to pretty much plan everything while I'm there. It is frustrating but I've heard from brides getting married at other resorts, this is par for the course. Trying to stay positive and I think by the time we get married, things will get worked out.

Great to hear that you had such a good experience, except for at the airport. A few questions... Did you bring a lot with you and if so did they give you any problems at customs? Did you need receipts? What appetizer options did you choice for the cocktail party? What kind of cake did you get? Did you have a rehearsal dinner and if so where and did it cost extra? Pictures would be fantastic! Do you they goo centerpiece options that aren't crazy expensive? How does the ceremony music work? Can you just bring a CD and tell them which songs are for what? Sorry for all the questions but all of us have not received many answers lately and I'm getting antsy! Thanks and congratulations on your wedding!

I am doing a site visit in July to Sapphire. We've already decided on this location but after some stressing I thought it would put my mind at ease if I actually saw the place. I'll post a review when I get back. Some other Paradisus/NOW Sapphire brides have already done site visits and said it was really great and beautiful. Word of advice/warning ... on site coordinators are very slow about returning emails but that seems to be the normal among all locations but if you read any of the reviews, it all works out in the end.

Yes, Daniela sent me an email yesterday but it didn't really say much. She said no swapping of items in the package but something like "the complementary package Your Moments can not be discounted of the other wedding packages." I'm not sure if that means the cost of that package can go towards the other ones or what that means. I asked her about the golf and snorkeling trips but she still hasn't given me anything on the meals plans, extra for drinks, decoration costs, etc. I've asked her for all that again in my reply email.

How are you bringing all your stuff down? We are thinking about just a big box that we can throw away with all of our OOT bag stuff, decorations, favors, etc. Thoughts?

No, thanks. I will definitely be pulling that same card if they won't let me have a buffet option. We want to be very informal and plus I don't want to have to do menu cards, etc.

What about swapping things out? I already have a photog so I wouldn't want that in the package ... any word on that? Also, is the day passes the same? I'm so glad they are being more responsive! 3 weeks ... yahhh! How exciting!
