NaM- you are right... kinda wished I had of found this forum first before booking with DW. Not that they have been bad or anything but it looks like it would have been easier if I had of just went directly through Palace instead ... oh well! I dont see why it makes a difference on who you book with... as long as you are bringing business to the resort in general, I would think it shouldnt matter if you have a contract or not (IMO). At least today one of my friends said she is going to book this weekend! Yeahhhh!

Great job on the STD, right to the point and inexpensive! My best friend got married this past June and I have no clue where her STD and invitation that she sent me is at (plus we have moved since then). With that being said we have also decided to not spend a lot of money on invitation, etc...

We are staying at the same resort (Aventura Spa Palace) and will be there for 10 nights. We arrive on Tuesday 6/22 and leave on 7/2... most of the people will leave on Sunday or Monday so we will still have time to ourselves. I think my FI mom and step dad plan to leave on Tuesday but that is okay with me. Even when we were in Cozumel this past September we hung out with other couples (vacation is funnier if you have people to hang out with... IMO)

Also believe there are some Riu threads. Other resorts that seem to be popular are Palace resorts (where we are getting married - Aventura Spa) and Dream resorts. Happy Planning!
