That's all for my black friday shopping- not too exciting but i was happy with what I got, except that I wanted one more snuggie =( Great deal on the snuggie!!! I would have wanted 2 also!! good for you!

  4. What a great review!!! I can't wait for Valentine's Day!!!!
  5. I have a tradition of going shopping as early as 12 midnight after Thanksgiving. Where will you shop this year? Please share you great deals here!!
  6. Happy Thanksgiving from Atlanta my beautiful, funny, smart, February brides!!!!! Gobble gobble chicas!!!!
  7. I have a platinum ring and I must admit, I have had it over almost 2 years and I have never taken it to get polished (shame on me!!) all things considered though..it still looks great!! I love the fact that platinum will never get a yellow tinge to it and my diamonds still sparkle as much as they did day one! If you want the best, then go with platinum. It is a heavier metal and withstands a lot more than WG does. I just got my wedding band and I need some serious polishing to make my Ering look as pretty as my new Tiffany band honestly. Overall, personal preference and wear and tear you expect to put on the ring should be the true deciding factor. Good luck
  8. We will be at Dreams Cabo for 6 days in February for the wedding, then we will travel to Paris in March for our honeymoon.

I still have a LOT of scratches and dullness on the metal. I will combing this with polishing to make it look pretty next to my new sparlky band.

You are to much. Everytime I see that little mound of blue boxes, I get all giggly. They are having another 50% off event on Dec. 7th, too close to the last purchases though so I don't know if I will hit the Tiffany motherload again. I am considering panhandling for a bit though NY pan handlers get PAID if you stand in the right place haha. THanks ladies!!! I will try repolishing. I completely forgot about that. My last polishing event rubbed off the coating of a pianagonda necklace so I was scared to try it again. Girlkin... once a month! I am not mad at that, let's keep this oh so important piece of jewelery looking its best!
  13. congrats and welcome to the forum. Happy planning
  14. Hi ladies, I have had my engagement ring for over a year. The setting is platinum and as you know over time, this metal shows scratches and nicks pretty easily. What can you do the the ring (besides a pressure/heat wash) to remove the scratches so that it looks new like the band? Is there a such thing as removing the stones to redip the ring in the metal??
  15. I am game for the engraving!! Who is with me.. "Put it back on!!" In pretty cursive writing haha
  16. EricaJ-No I wasn't kidding about him being overly confident in his emails..he actually used the words "these other pseudo DJ's in Cabo" in an email to ME. I deleted it because you took it the wrong way and I didn't want others to think I was being negative about him. I booked him for his services and I loved the confidence!! I am sure the experience will be a great one.
  17. GRRRRR..packing for Atlanta we leave tomorrow. Have to put on a happy face for my FI's mom.. the same woman who tried to set him up with his ex from 9 years ago when we announced that we were getting married. Wicked woman I was always soooo nice to her
  18. I would say forgive and not forget. I don't think you should drastically alter your future because of his misstep. Sleep in the other room for a while longer and make him feel the error of his ways, but don't call the whole thing off.
