I went to two weddings last year in july and august and although it was hot (the groom was sweating more than any of us and he was in a gazebo lol), it was soo beautiful and the quick ceremony made it ok. Fans will definitely help- good call! I think I read somewhere awhile back on trip advisor that they do actually have water bottles by the beach and pool areas ( i always thought that was a nice touch), so I'm sure asking them to have some handy nearby would be easy.

I am sooo behind on the whole dress thing. I cant decide between a 10lb maggie sottero or a light chiffon Galina. Hmmm..for any of you who are married already and didnt wear a light or chiffon gown, how did you hold up in the tropical sun?

Ladies, I am torn between Anastasia Maggie dress which was a tad heavy, or a light and flowy chiffon dress by Galina. I feel more "bridal" in the first, but am worried about the heat and not being able to dance and be comfortable. For any of you that have been married in one of the non destination or chiffon Maggies, how did you hold up in the tropical sun?

So jealous...i wanna be in playa right now too instead of work lol Does anyone else ever watch the webcam wistfully?

That blows big time. I still haven't heard back from the other day when I emailed them because I my date/time/location was still showing on their website as available, but hopefully that will be confirmed soon. I'm sorry, girl, you are right- unacceptable.

Should I be worried that my day/time is still available to choose from on the Real site?

I wonder what causes the lighting problems if you have guests in the gazebo? The guests themselves, or because bride/groom will be closer the edge near the sun/water? Hmmm
