Hello fellow B2B, Â Hope someone can help me out. I was under the assumption that if we booked 10 rooms or more, a $15.00 discount would be given per person for our reception. I was just informed today for the WC that we can only receive if we do $75(3hr reception). We were going to do that at first but decide to do the $50pp( 2hr reception) Any insight or extr info on this issue. Â Thanks Ladies. Â Ms.Tiffany

Hi Ladies, For those who have gotten married at beaches negril I have a few questions. If you do the Beautiful Beginnings Theme, did you have to pay $100 per extra table? If you brought your own centerpieces and decor for ceremony and reception, were you charged $150 for as a set fee? Does anyone have prices on flowers/bout for BM & GM? If you did the BB Theme did you have a long table for your wedding party? I am being told that I can only have a round table for groom, BM, GM and myself. And I have to get a MS theme to get a long table. I am getting so stress over something so minor. All I want is one long table for the wedding party. Ms.Tiffany

Hey Ladies, I appreciate all the info, I will be requesting everything in writing. My TA has gotten many answer from Amber, but I want it from her directly. Regarding the tables, I was told that the centerpieces were $100 a piece, but its like paying for tables. 5centerpieces 5tables = $500.00. I will not be purchasing a MW package, we have beautiful beginnings, I will not be charged for extra tables. I totally agree the purpose of doing a DW is to save money. It makes no sense to charge $75.00 pp for food at an all inclusive resort. Well to save money I am bring my own decorations for wedding/reception and photographer. I trying to figure out my flower situation. Ladies lets not get stressed, this is our day and we should enjoy planning. Stand your ground, Dont settle and be persistant. This forum is awesome! Thanks Maureen, you rock! All the info was extremely helpful. I am a Oct 2010 bride, I have decided to change my resort from beaches negril to Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. The wedding packages/reception soooooo much more affordable, but still doing honeymoon at sandals negril. I agree I want a more laid back place to relax after the wedding. Thanks Alison, I appreciate the input. I sent our a few emails, so we will see. Yeah my FI set a buget, but I increase it by 5, lol lol. Either way have still cut the price in half by doing a DW. Hey does anyone know sites that have DW attire for men. lol lol If I leave it up to the FI the groomsmen will come with all different attire. I know for a Nov 2010 bride I am doing so much very earlier, but I hate waiting to do anything at the last minute.

Hey Alison, When you started look at the website with various photographers, How did you determine which one. Did you choose someone from your state or a photographer who does DW? Try to find someone who is good and very very very affordable. Just some ideas on how I can do my search on that site. Thanks Ms.Tiff

If you have a TA, advise them that Amber is not returning your calls/email. It seems to help me a lil when I am trying to touch bases with her. When I talked to Amber last week, she could not confirm about me bringing my own decorations. I agree I dont think its fair to make people pay for decor we dont want. She sent me the MS options/rate. They are crazy! My friend got married at Dreams Cancun and had her own decor. If PB was still avail you would not have to use his decor. Amber says she has a list of brides that have the same question and will contact us when she gets an answer. Lets just stay on the issue and whoever gets an answer first, will advise. I find this forum so helpful, thanks ladies for all your info.

Glad to know that I can do my own centerpieces, I spoke to Amber the other day and she stated that we had to do Martha Stewart. My FI swears they wont let me bring my own decor..... men hav not clue...lol Please keep me posted I like to know info regarding the cost of reception, we believe to have at least 50 people. Hi 2010 brides, I have been engaged four weeks! We are looking at Oct 2010, I have not set an exact date. It seems that finding a location and reasonble wedding package is the HARDEST PART! My FI has set a budget and if I go over than he feels we should just get married at home. He feels my budget defeats the purpose of doing a DW. This seems to be my problem, I cannot find a reasonable wedding package, I want an all inclusive in los cabos or punta cana that is kid friendly, well you can located those place just when it comes to the packages the prices get crazy with additional cost like a reception, open bar(why charge this when its an all inclusive resort) some places punta cana charge 15-26% on top of each extra you purchase. I have become so frustrated. My FI wants to go to cancun, well we just came back from dreams last month at my friends wedding, last year we went to puerto vallarta and in 2006 we went to Rivera Maya. So I would like to stay away from those places. He wants a place were we hit the nightclubs and Cancun is his favorite place. I would like to make our wedding someplace we have not been. PLEASE HELP! Any suggestion on wedding packages and resorts.

Hi! I am getting married in Oct or Nov 2010, it will be los cabos or punta cana as well. Just not having any luck with wedding packages. We will have at least 50 guest, I want a private reception. We are looking at the Los Cabos but for Oct or Nov 2010, if we decide our guest may pay $700-$850 pp for air and hotel(AI) It will be more cost effective for everyone including my FI and I.
