  1. I was going to add. Originally we wanted to go to Dreams Tulum. I really really wanted pictures done on their staircase. But the distance to Tulum with three infants was too long and then we found Dreams PA. It was smaller and closer to Playa. Although they say its only 45 min from the airport and that is in exceptional condtions. No traffic and no drops offs. My brother said its more like an hour and twenty minutes to hour and half. should be fun after a 5 hour play ride. But its 13 days today. YAY.
  2. If the third one is pave swaraski crystals like then thats the one i like. If not then number 1.

Only has 321 guest rooms or so and I didnt want to be on a huge resort for my day. I love the fact that you dont need reservations for dinner and it had good reviews for family and couples. HTH's.
  4. She wants an alfred angelo BM dress and I just need a size. I have no clue so thanks for all those tips ladies.
  5. I just might have to take you up on the docking offer. We only have a crappy little 20 dollar one for my daughters and its skips lol. Yes heres to hoping sound is free. You know what I saw on an other board tonight. Dreams in los cabos put together a bonfire on the beach the night before the wedding with smores and beer. Which is an awesome idea and I am going to email jacy about that. Its not too bad here. I have to come into Calgary this week to try on Bridesmaid dresses and am looking for a shop other than ethos or bridal centre. Let me know of any that are easy to get too. I get lost downtown hehe. Talk soon.
  6. Sears in canada has hot pink BM dresses in chiffon and jersey. Super flowy and I think 80 dollars. I bet Sears.com has them too.
  7. Thanks, its 14 days today. I had a list of extra stuff to be sure to bring and guess what my 18 month old scribbled all over it. Now I have to go back through 12 pages of posts to do it all over. Arggg. hey janna are you guys having dancing etc after your wedding reception dinner?
  8. Gratz Oscar, welcome to our family. The girls here have been so helpful its awesome. IF you need help with anything let us know. I will be posting pics of my OOT bag and Invites later this weekend. Hope you ladies like. And on a totally seperate note I just have to share with someone I have reached my target weight. 2 weeks earlier than I had hoped. 35 pounds down. YAY.
  9. Not sure. I am bringing table overlays for mine. I think the napkins will most likely be white at the resort.
  10. Thanks for all the great BD info guys. I really like Sara's prices and hopefully can fix this in when I get back from Mexico. We leave in 16 days. YAY.
  11. Hey Janna, We get the honeymoon package with our wedding packages so does that mean because we are staying the extra 7 days as our honeymoon we get all that after everyone leaves. Have you asked about this yet? I just sent off an email but was thinking maybe your ahead of the game with it. TTYS.

Apparently they cancelled so we are the only wedding that day. And that makes me happy lol sorry but now I dont have to worry about time being divided between 2 wedding parties and not getting first choice. She also said she has been advised that we wont need translations on our birth certificates &/ my divorce decree just our passports and tourist card. So yay. Saves us 170 US. In the email she also said that they can offer private dinners starting at $35 dollars which is less than what I had read so I have to do another email to get her to break prices down for me. I will let you know what she says. 16 more sleeps.
  14. lol I know. Super stoked. Im starting to pack. But I need to find more flip flops I think and 1 more bikini and another cover up. Place to be in these the majority of the time. Wont be doing much touring until our second week when the kids come home. See you soon Janna. We will both the crazy brides with haggard looking fiances following in our wake. haha.
  15. Poop, lol I have no idea if there's is before or after. I am assuming after since mine is at 3 and earlier might be really hot but thats a guess. Are kids allowed by the game pool. I know the adult pool bar is strictly adults. 19 more sleeps till we leave. I still havent received fiances band, my local jeweler is super freaking slow.

The other thing I would check on is how on time are they going to be? I have heard that it runs on Mexican time down there. Everyone is so layed back and if your late they say dont worry dont worry. Dont want to stress you hon but maybe ask Jacy. Here's a question I would like to know. What happens if you are getting married in the gazebo or want to and have your reception dinner there as well. And what if there is another wedding that day? How do they decide who gets it. This is freaking me out a bit. Since I know there is another wedding on my day.
  17. Krista My girlfriend got married in Mexico and just brought the certificate home in spanish. She used that to get a new passport, change all her banking, legal stuff. I am not paying another 150 to get it translated. Just going to bring it back with me.
  18. This is such an awesome idea. I think I will have to go to Playa in the morning and do this also.
  19. Teshy, which bank do you go to. I use CIBC and there is no problem getting US travellers cheques. We need 6000 dollars and they said no problem. All it takes is three days for them to make sure they have enough to print off on. My sisterinlaw works at ATB and same thing there. I think travellers cheques are the safest. We are going to take some cash mostly for tips etc but the bulk in cheques. Good luck.
  20. Mylene your pics are awesome. I cant believe its three weeks till departure. Super stoked. Got my invites for AHR done tonight. We had 280 for dinner and needed to cut 80 not fun. But its all good now.

  22. I added you Mylene and peeked at your pictures. It looks lovely and you looked gorgeous. Did you use the resort photog, and did you have to write your own vows? My friend got married at the Grand Palladium and she said she did there? Can I ask which package you had also. Thanks so much for sharing. Im super excited and glad I decided on no rose petals for my daughter.
