I'm wondering if any of the brides have taken a cake topper for the cake. I know many brides don't want to do a cake at the destination wedding (at least i've seen that in the forum a lot). I do want a cake (tradition) and I'm wondering if you've taken a topper with you or you left it to the resort to decorate the cake. If you have pictures, that would be great! Thanks!

I agree with everyone also. (although I love SSNM's post with the long speech about planning a wedding so quickly - priceless!). The sooner the better also, so she can find someone else (Like a DJ - I too have never seen an MC at a wedding other than the DJ). I hope it goes well! Good Luck! -

Congratulations! And I agree - narrow down the place and the rest is much easier. Have you thought of talking with a travel agent for ideas. I think there are several on this site - I used a local TA that specializes in Honeymoons and Destination Weddings. he's been great! Good luck and happy planning!

Great Idea! I don't think i'm going to wear a veil for the ceremony because of the wind, but I would like an inexpensive one for some of the pictures (I think). Still not decided on this yet!
