Thanks Hi Scottishbride, Yes unfortunetly their is a diffrent rate for non-resort guests depending on what package you use just for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. If they want to come to the resort before any of those events begin than you do need to get them passes. That means also for letting them up to your room. If you go to the wedding packages the non-resort guest pricing is listed by the way.

  3. Hi Ladies, I missed the webinad so thank you to all of you who informed us. I did not know that centerpieces were included, that is great news Also just to re-iterate to put everyones minds at ease I know for a fact from another bride who was married at The Royal that any guests staying at The Royal, Gran Porto or Real are free and do not have to pay for passes to come to the ceremony, cocktail hour (as long as it is private) and reception. I was bummed about the one menu choice to

MagnetStreet : Magnetic Calendars, Calendar Magnets, Wedding Invitations, Save The Date Magnets, Refrigerator Magnets, Magnetic Sports Schedules is who we used. I found that they are very reasonable and I love their templates.

My mom is attaching ribbons onto the umbrellas and writing everyone name and table in caligraphy. Sorry I was so excited about doing this I had to go into detail lol

  9. Hi Ladies interested in the bachelorette part info. Last time the bride did it through her travel agen so I was planning on asking my TA Jill about it. Also while I was down this Novemeber I was going to scope the scene and see if any of those activitie booths on 5th do it. I also know someone else who did it at the RIU Royal. They just went straight through the resort. I am going to ask my TA stay tuned and I will let you guys know.

Hi, I am doing the same I have been to Playa many times and it is the perfect place for a bachelorette party!! In the past for $60 per person all you can drink they give you a bracelet and you can go from place to place. You get to go VIP style it is a lot of fun. They offer a list, I know Senor Frogs, Zenzi, Mammitas, are on there.
  11. Hi ladies, Ok so I did find out that they will send someone to your room you can also pay for a trial. I am going down this November for a site visit and will get all the rates and details. But if anyone else finds out before than pleeeasseeee post for the rest of us Also on the humidity factor and walking from MAC back to the room I have had my make up done by MAC for a wedding where it was almost 100 degrees!! and it was so humid. The make up lasted perfectly the whole day. They actually have special long lasting make up for different climates. It is more expensive but I think totally worth it. I think it might be fun to get pics with bm's walking through down town. I think it also depends though on the time factor. Sofiya you are right it may also be nice to sit in my ac room with champagne and croissants hahaha

I mean is it okay for your fiancee to touch a stripper, grab her butt or boobs? I mean i feel like we really don't know what goes on and whatever does happen, its not like we would find out (i dont think), the boys keep to themselves. What is accepatable to you guys? do you plan to tell you guy what you don't want him to do. Is it okay for him to dance/grind on another women? I just don't understand why it seems like guys think its okay to do all this stuff with women on the bachelor party and its okay because its their bachelor party. Any advice or thoughts on what you guys are thinking would be awesome Thanks! This is def a difficult subject for most. My FI's point of view is he does not want to pay to get teased. He hates strip clubs or anything of that kind. He went once and told me most of the time the girls are really ugly. He thinks its really tasteless. Unfortunetly our guy friends do not feel the same. They want to have a bach party for him with strippers and the whole thing. It actually became a really big deal. He wants to have a golf trip and do his bach party while we are down in mexico for the week of our wedding. He also wants a tequila tasting and than go to the cigar bar at night in Playa. He basically told the guys thats what he is doing and they can come or not but no strippers. The same rules apply for me. I went to a bachelorette party with a male stripper and the FI got really angry. So no strippers for me either.

  18. Congrats and welcome! let me know if you need anything. If you message me your e-mail either through personal or on the forum i can send you lots of info. I think I have every pdf known to man about all the options offered at The Royal lol

The cost between the two just doesn't seem comparable so we're doing the Luxury, adding 15 people and doing the bigger cake. We'll be spending $600 more than the luxury package, but still having to figure out the coctail thing which can't be as much as the the entire wedding. Any thoughts I'm so confused on all of this that I just may be missing out on something. Hey Lexibride, We are having a total of 100 people and we acctually want a 5 hour private event so I cant remember how it all worked out but when we got down to it it just made sense for us to go with the ultimate luxury. I have to look again and do a side by side comparison which we had done but we deleted it after we chose the package we wanted. So I don't think your missing anything, just with a 100 people it made more sense.
