Congrats and welcome! The mountain is awesome! with a DW you will have the best of both worlds!!! We chose ROR because it is a great value for the money and it met 2 of our biggest stipulations...allowed kids and all inclusive. There is a ton of information on here for you to learn on here, it has helped me a ton!

Yes our main reason was the value. along with it being AI and kid friendly, those 2 items were huge decision makers for us

RIU free wedding -- cost for extra people

Thanks for the info, my TA emailed them b/c we will have over/around 60 and they said we could still do the free wedding just pay for the extra cake and wine but didnt get the cost/person. My next question is if I outsource my cake would I have to still pay for the cake upgrade? Just a thought, not sure if anyone would know the answer to that but thought I would throw it out there -

we are doing OOT bags as well so I hadnt even thought about favors, maybe we can do the rum as well, not sure if my mom will like that though, shes not a drinker...oh well -

Thanks for the info, I think we are just wanting to do the poolside dancing, does anyone know what times are available for that? our ceremony is at 4:00 so we were going to do the dinner at 6:30 and then start the dancing reception at either 8:30 or 9 if that is an option. -

We were looking into turks but it was too much. Since,we have kids that are very important to us on both sides of the family our main thing was for us the resort to be kid friendly, AI, and affordable. Once we started looking at the stipulations in other countries vs JA it just seemed like the right choice. Another main reason for us was that since we met in Jamaica in June of 2008 we decided that it would be awesome to go back and get married there, we are actually getting married on the same day and close to the same time that we met.
