  1. I was looking at the Bluebay Grand Esmeralda and wondering if anyone getting married or has already gotten married at this resort. I'm looking for reviews and opinions on this property.
  2. I attended this year's Running of the Bride at Filene's Basement and absolutely loved!! The sale is held in selected Filene’s Basement stores once a year (twice a year in Boston). The Bridal Gown Events is when brides-to-be can save hundreds, even thousands of dollars on designer wedding gowns.News reports so often compare it to the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain that the event is now officially called the “Running of the Brides". The day of the sale, brides-to-be and their helpers line up early. When the doors open, they run full speed towards the racks. In less than 60 seconds, the racks are stripped bare (store employees have to hold on to the fixtures so they don’t topple). The women grab whatever gowns they can, haul them off to a corner, strip down to their underwear and start trying on dresses. Minutes later the trading begins. Every dress, no matter what size, style or color, gets bartered for another, as each bride tries to find the gown of her dreams at a cut-rate price. I had a team of 4 and we found my dream wedding dress in about 3 hours for only $250. I highly recommend everyone check out this sale if it comes to a city near you. Upcoming City and Dates. He says why have to deal with her crap for a year if I can only have to deal with it for a couple months. I understand his thinking because for the last 4 years she's been nothing but trouble. Is there a possibility that even if you don't do it at an adults only and plan on bringing the kids that they won't get to go? No, they will definitely get to go because he has custody of them. I just don't want him to get too involved with the children during that time when we are entertaining the guest and before the ceremony.
  4. I love the invitations. I have viewed her site and considering getting the boarding pass STD.
  5. Confession: I originally planned to have a DW at an adult only resort but, he wants his children to be present!!
  6. Rhonda, I agree with you!!! The guest are traveling to support you and your FI and he need to be there to meet and greet the guest that thought enough of you guys to travel to your wedding.
  7. Thanks for the informative article. It answered several questions for me.
  8. I have been searching for resorts in the Riviera Maya area that allow children and it appear as if all of the resorts that I would seriously consider are "ADULTS ONLY" resorts!! Any suggestions
  9. Greetings Everyone, I recently became engaged and we have not set a date yet but, we have definitely decided on a destination wedding. I'm seriously considering the Riviera Maya area of Mexico but, I have not totally ruled out Jamaica. Hopefully, this forum can provide some helpful insight. He is hoping to get married before the end of the year but, I think I need until next Spring for planning.
