They look wonderful! I think it's great your FI was so involved.

We bought some starfish at a local party store, packages of 30 or so and they had a little odor but it went away really quickly. Hopefully that will happen for you.

Check out the Vistaprint thread. I had the same problem thinking about my reception invites (we didn't have guests at the wedding so the reception is the "event"). I was able to get ideas and come up with a design. I posted pictures of what we did and there are quite a few others posted too. I hope that helps :-)

2000 Dollar Budget Wedding: From Conception to Reception I'm browsing for ideas for our ahr and came across this blog. I found it full of some neat ideas and a different approach for a budget bride. I wish I had found it prior to my wedding :-) I like how her focus is on involving her family and friends in a meaningful way. Gives me something to think about with how I organize my reception.

DH helped me design and order these today. We wanted something simple but liked the idea of using pictures since so many of the people we invite won't be able to come-we just want them to know they're included. We don't have a border around them so use your imagination :-) Invitations (Qty 60 6x9 ) with envelopes-front side only For RSVPs we're using postcards. (Qty 100 Standard size) We're a little late ordering so I did the 3 business day rush shipping which cost as much as the entire order.... Total spent $68 ($32 for product, the rest for shipping) Oh, and I got a free mouse pad for my office too...

Beautiful choice! Those size estimates seem a bit bit but the nice thing about the dress you've picked is that it laces up. It's pretty forgiving if you're off a size. That being said I would make sure when you order you are measured by a bridal consultant to ensure the best fit. Good luck!

My MIL keeps raving about how nice it was to be on an adult only resort lol. It's the last thing I would expect her to say as a teacher but she just kept saying over and over how much she loved that! Everyone else loved the small, intimate setting and the special extras our resort provided. Oh, and our customized T-shirts-they were a huge hit. People around the resort were stopping our whole party the entire stay to comment about them.

I would let him go with the tie. It will look stunning for your photos. My husband wore a lime green tie, one of our accent colors and it was just the right touch.
