  1. You could just do cute hang tags that you tie to the handle with ribbon. That way your guests are trying to remove the lables and glue before using them
  2. It's been 8 years since my wedding but reading this post brought back the memory like it was yesterday. It is was so hard to go so long without seeing the dress and then there was the second guessing "did I pick the right one, will it fit right?" You will be just fine and will probably love it even more the next time you see it...absence makes the heart grow fonder.
  3. Alyssa, congratulations on your new business! We wish you the best of luck and look forward to watching you grow.
  4. Thanks Ladies, be sure to mention BDW20 when placing your orders

We completely understand and it definitely is a personal preference as to where to budget your money. We are sure your guests will love them and appreciate that you took the time to hand do them.
  6. For future reference, You can have a company do envelope printing for you and it will look beautiful and professional. Often times you can use a "calligraphy font" that looks handwritten but is actually printed on a printer. Another way to make an envelope look special is to place a graphical element on the envelope such as a frame or graphic from your invitation suite. Calligraphy is also an option but can be more expensive.
  7. A friend of ours did this for her wedding. She went to the local craft store and bought inexpensive clay pots that she painted white. She clustered 3 pots together on a round tray. She used a mix of ferns and azaleas, it was beautiful. She went to the local home depot and bought them about a week before her wedding and transplanted them. You can probably speak to someone ahead of time to see what type of plants would be best to use during that time of year.
  8. The idea of a corsage is very nice and would help them stand out during the party. Another idea would be to give a small gift for them to open (maybe a photograph framed of you with each girl). You can then take that opportunity to make a toast to your girls and explain in a few words to your guests how you know each of your bridesmaids and why they were picked to be in your wedding.

Those are darling and so affordable! Your guests are going to love them.
  10. Typically we recommend to our brides that they send out save the dates for destination weddings about 1 year prior. This in most cases is ample lead time for your guests to begin to make arrangements.
  11. If you are concerned about what is proper then stick to this rule of thumb, for items used pre-ceremony such as invitations, showers, engagement events or programs you should not mix in the future husbands last initial, just stick to first names or first initials only. Otherwise, for the reception items or thank you cards it is perfectly fine to use the new last initial. Best of luck to you...
  12. They are darling and we know your guests are going to appreciate all the little touches.
