WOW!! I love the passport invites!! I just sent out my STD's afew months ago and want to send out my invites now and wasn't sure if I wanted to go with the passport invites or something more formal, since my STD's look like little flip flops. But now that I see your I think my mind is made..not only were your invites beautiful but also had all kinds of information for your guests on them! Thanks so much for the post!! Now to start mine!!

Hey Dawn!! I just found your thread and thought I would say hi and see how your planning is going. My fiance and I are just finalizing our pick for our wedding on October 10, 2010 and it looks like we are going to be going to the Blau. I have read nothing but good reviews so far on trip advisor about the place, and my travel agent raves about it.

Acually with finding a TA in general, would you be able to PM me the contact info to me so I can see what kind of prices I might be able to get? That would be AWESOME! I live in a small town in northern ontario and my resources up here are limited

Ok sorry it took me so long to post this. My laptop screen is fried and I am only able to get online about once a week or so. One of the websites I had found that did the choclate cigars Personalized Custom Chocolate Cigars And another website I found that did them aswell Personalized Chocolate Coins, Cigars, Roses, Chocolate Bars Mints & Spoons, Jelly Beans - Chocolate Impressions Also in my serach I found afew different videos and recipes online that show you how to make them yourself! Just research them online..they look pretty simple, I think I might try to make a few, see how it works!

My FI and I are lovers of cigars, and so are alot of our friends and family. So since we are having a pretty small wedding, my FI and I decided to give out cigars as our wedding favours. I also come across a website (I will have to look for it again) that made CHOCOLATE cigars and then you could have your own personalized labels. They were pretty cheap..and also a good idea to have in case some of the guests don't smoke. They looked like real cigars aswell which I thought was pretty neat. Its apparently really thin chocolate rolled up. They looked yummy, and I thuoght it was pretty neat! I will definitely have to find that webste and post it on here! I like the idea of the maracas, and to me they ar more Cuban than Mexican. I have no idea how else we plan on tying Cuba into our wedding, but we do plan on it! Its great to see everyone else's ideas. Amarillis I liked you deas of something sweet right after!!!

Hi, sorry I know my details say Jamaica but that was our first choice, but since then have changed to Cuba to make it more afordable for some family members who WERENT able to make it to Jamaica. I guess I should probably change that eh? hahaha Sorry for the confusion!!

Hey guys I need a bit of help. My fiance and I have finally set a date for our wedding (FINALLY), but now I am abit worried if we CAN get married on the date we want. We want to get married on October 10th, 2010 (10.10.10) but it's a Sunday. I know when we had looked into afew different destinations that was a problem because you couldn't get married on a Sunday. I have looked all over the place and I can't find any info regarding this so I am HOPING there are no laws in Cuba saying you can't get married on a Sunday, but I want to make sure. I thought here would be the BEST place to find out..If anyone could help me out with this that would be great!

Wow. What a great savings your TA got you, and that is to bad that your guests will not be able to recieve that aswell, but at least you were able to! My FI and I are wanting to use a TA but living in a small town we are finding it difficult. The TA here in town is not TOO helpful and I have been finding better prices online than I have with her. But b/c this IS my wedding, I DO want to use a TA to help eliviate stress and organize all the different ppl traveling from all over to come to our wedding. Hopefully I find someone who is able to help me as I am starting to panic!!
