It's the things you do while you're there that make it fun...not how decorated things were. I'm sure no one will look back and say...ohhh, weren't those sashes gorgeous? but they will say...remember the day we all stayed on the beach and played crib...or hung out by the pool and told jokes...etc. it will be a memorable trip for everyone, no matter what!! good luck! was the excursion expensive? did you book this when you got there or gave your guests an itinerary?
  3. I invited the women who are invited to the wedding that are close to me, there were women I would have invited to the shower but since I did not invite them to the wedding i didn't feel it was approciate. They say if your invited to the shower and not the wedding...it may appear you just want a gift.
  4. oh and for reference, the dress is Alfred Angelo and cost $120!
  5. i'm going to have three lovey ladies as my bridal party. below are the bm's and the Moh will have the same but in all coral. i got a great deal at betty's bridal in PA. she carries a ton of designers and ships FOR FREE. (Note: all three of my girls are in different states-Cali, Utah and Jersey.) Betty's is a god send!
  6. freaking love it!! love it!! love it!!! the color flow, details of the starfish!!! fantastic job! where did you get the starfish champagne glasses and cake cutter?

  8. gorgeous!! love the flower in your hair!!
  9. Jerseykitten- the free vistaprint stuff...what is it free samples they give you before you order bulk quantities?

I am on the hunt for chair covers! you don't happen to know if their a standard size
  11. just to update- I think I will go with Rexcraft.com they are able to customize the the invites to add a touch here and there of what I want and seem to have the ink color that I have been looking for. We'll have to see how the samples come out!! if not I am going to be going with one of our lovely BDW venders...especially since they have such great referrals!! thanks ladies!!!

Just to avoid confusion...she does more than passports Good luck, I know it's weird to think about paying so much for paper that you are getting rid of anyway... EXACTLY!! I know everyone is going to throw them away but yet this is the first impression of the style of the wedding. Decisions!! :/

  15. ipod playlist...another project to get started on!! I will definetely be working on this over christmas a nice two weeks off to get ahead on this wedding planning. I was going to do the DJ route but its too risky with the selection... I will be searching good ol' BDW for that list!

I have seen the Free package flowers from others reviews and its just not what I had envisioned either (the birds of paradise). As a result, I am also going to DIY and go to Michael's and hope for the best. I have decided on a deep blue Iris and a White Casablanca Lily. Before you go to Michael's you can check out Tai Flora Services Ltd. - Jamaica's Full Service Florists I believe that is the florist that the resort uses. ~Good Luck and See You There : ) LAdies- thanks to the great ideas on this thread i created a word document with everything I would want for flowers emailed it to TAi flora and got quotes! It definetely took a few weeks but if you tell her what you want she will give you prices and let you know if its even possible (if you have the time to wait for the quote).
  17. Ladies has anyone ordered the grooms suit from here?? was the material and color what you expected?? what about accuracy with the sizing??
  18. wow now that is a review!!! thanks for posting! and yes where are the pictures of you?!?!
  19. Ladies, quick question- when you order samples from Wedding paper divas, invitaitons by dawn, mygatsby, etc are the sample's paper quality what you actually receive with the production? All the samples I have ordered I'm really not impressed with and its holding me back from ordering my invites. I'm hoping the poor quality is just because they are samples.
  20. they look great!! I'm checking out heartpapersoul and the cards and pockets websites right now! thanks!
