Tracy - do not feel like you're being pushy - I sent like 3 reminder emails to get people to book - I'm only waiting on 3 people now. I said in the last email: Hi there! Sorry to be so pushy, but if you're coming to the wedding, please book the room ASAP - I'm only going to be holding them another week and then the rate won't be guaranteed anymore. Here's the travel agent info: Hope to see you soon! Michele and Jim It's THEIR FAULT for not responding on time. Tonya - good luck on your BD shoot! the drinks will help and everyone says once you get started you feel more comfortable. I will end up doing one right before or after the wedding since I've been so late starting the real workout stuff. Meghan - sorry you're working so much - my job is kicking my butt these days - a lot of pressure and the commute is awful. I had an interview yesterday for my dream job - i'm almost afraid to wish for it. I should hear next week.

Personally, I would send a thank you as soon as I got a gift. I've done that with the few I've gotten, just to get it out of the way. I think if you don't put registries, people assume you want cash. I always assume people want cash. It's the perfect gift : ) If you want people to know you're registered, maybe you can keep it on your wedding website, and have the wedding website on the invite, so they can go see it on there? Just an idea. Look down at my siggy # - MORE PEOPLE BOOKED!!!! Still not my MIL HAHAHA for some reason she can't get the TA on the phone...but everyone else is....I think I will end up with 25 people of the 50ish I invited. Not too bad.

Don't worry Tracy, nobody's grading your spelling on here! I have now had 2 sessions with the personal trainer. this dude means BUSINESS! He's got me doing weights, squats and cardio on the Precor AMT in between. I'm sore but I'm pretty sure I'll be in good shape for the wedding. I'm going to go to him Monday - Thursday and maybe one day on the weekend. i'm back on my 1000 calorie/day diet so everything should come together bodywise quickly. I'm not even going to get my dress fitted till March so most of the weight's off already.

This is the bouquet I picked. They are mango mini calla lillies and green dendrobiums. Edy, what kind of flowers were in yours that were so much cheaper? Maybe I can send a picture of different ones to get a cheaper price. I don't want to have to leave to get my flowers. That will stress me out!

FI's cousin who responded yes - FI called today and now he and wife are fighting and haven't booked yet - FI told him I am cancelling hold on rooms next week and if he hasn't booked he loses the price. My other friend promised me this week....It's like pulling teeth to get people to go to an effing ISLAND!

I think it's really nice that you want both to be a part of your day, and your dad should respect that your stepdad raised you, and that he should be included as well. Meghan, I know working out is the right thing to do....I'm just lazy...now that i'm paying a trainer, i will go to the gym and work my butt off though. My best friend that is so into working out LOVES kettlebells.

Awww...I am a total "daddy's girl"...even at age 40...so I love the daddy stories too... And weren't we talking about beds a few pages back? We just ordered a new one - King sized Simmons Beautyrest World Class Angelique Super Pillowtop AND we got a 19 inch flat screen with it...special deal at Macys...very exciting since FI has had this bed for almost 20 years - it will be nice to have OUR own bed. And my countdown is actually less than 100 days now! OMG! FI and I went on our resort website today, since he really has nothing to do with the planning and did a little virtual tour, and looked at the side tours we could do, like zip lining and ATVs....he's never been to any resorts or islands so now he's really starting to get excited, and it's starting to hit both of us that it's happening soon!!!!

So I have been so out of the whole work out/eating right thing...the holidays got the best of me my office has food all the time everywhere! FI and I had talked about me getting liposuction and were totally for it - I'd gone to a doctor in October about it but then I started working and decided to wait a bit. a few weeks ago I went to the (supposed) top plastic surgeon in the area who told me I'm not a candidate for lipo and that I would need a tummy tuck, which FI and I do not want me to have, as i don't want the big scar or the major surgery....SO, I went to my weight loss dr, who is kind of the impartial judge in all of this, showed him my gut and asked him what he thought, as since September I've only lost 13 lbs and am so frustrated. His answer...get a personal trainer 4x a week and skip the surgery all together. Not exactly what I was expecting to hear, but he said if I work out hard with a trainer 4-5 times a week I will look better than with surgery. I think I really wanted the easy way out...lol...but I went and got the trainer today, start tomorrow and expect to be in pain by tuesday...but the trainer promised me to be in shape for the wedding so...wish me luck ladies!

I left it out. I don't think anyone noticed or cared. It saves money and postage because of the weight.

I've been on here for a long time and FI and I finally figured out how to take a picture of my ring! he picked it out completely on his own and has also picked out a wedding ring to match it. I'm going to trust him on this since he did such a good job with the e-ring!

Christina - the flowers look AWESOME!!! And I borrowed most of your email to your guests today to get people to book, so thank you : ) I just looked at your lists of things to do and thought " OMG, I have so much to do too" but it will all wait till after the holidays. FI and I are leaving tomorrow morning to drive to South Carolina. I'm off from work all of next week so maybe I'll do some looking around for OOT bag things while I'm off but I just need a break from everything. Have a great Holiday if you celebrate!

Meghan - I totally agree - I'd rather pay my own and not have to deal with other people's influence! Do you see my siggy - 8 people booked now - 2 more! My MIL told me she'd do it over the holiday...we have a few more friends that should be booking...it's slowly creeping up!
