I had the same problem with the swim ups.. I haven't called the resort yet to ask about the rates, but if you do, could you post them? We have already booked and put our deposit down. I just talked with a TA and they said because, each tour group is alloted so many rooms (secific rooms) etc. Thats the reason we cannot get the swim up room....but we can request upon arrival. Not to happy about this....but nothing I can do.

Hi Ladies, I have a question for you ladies. When we booked through our TA we requested a Swim Up room....well now the TA is telling us that thier supplier no long carries swim up rooms?!? That we are to ask upon arrival?? Has anyone ever heard of this before?

We have been dating for 8 years it will be 9 in February and we get married in April!

Hello I am not sure how many Ontario/Canadian ladies are on here and who have heard about this story. Below is info about the story; Victoria Stafford went missing on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 around 3:30pm from Woodstock Ontario. She is a thin blond-haired eight year old that was last seen wearing a black Hannah Montana Jacket with a white fur-lined hood, a green shirt/sweater with pink lettering, a black velvet skirt, black leotards and black shoes. Her name is Victoria (Tori). Today at 3:00 there will be a press conference abut this little girl. Apparently according to the papers and news her neighbours 18 year old girl and a 28 year old man took Tori, they sexually molested her and then dumped her body in Guelph Ontario. Her body as not been found but apparently the 18 year old girl is "helping" by giving information. The 18 year old is ONLY getting accessorie to murder, I disagree with this as she is the one who lured this poor girl away. I feel bad for her parents and family who will never get to see thier baby girl again, never got to say goodbye. I am outraged that people can hurt children!! There are no postives in this case but at least she has not been suffering and being misstreated for the past 21 days. My thoughts are with this family at this time, and I am sorry for the loss of their little girl.

Hi ladies. I sent my deposit in WEEKS ago and the money has come off the credit card also. My TA who are working directly with both them and me say my date is confirmed but I have not seen or had anything sent to me directly. I am also hoping my date it booked!!

OMG how exciting!!! I wanted to get married there as well as I am a huge Mickey Mouse Fan lol. I have been to Disney more times then I can count and I LOVE It!! Definetly check out Down Town Disney the nightlife is so much fun-there are lots of different clubs depending on what your looking for. The comedy club is so funny and a lot like "who's line is it anyways" (not sure if you guys get that program). Its very improv. There are tones of stuff for every age. FI is like my dad...they never want anything or do anything but once they are there they have the TIME OF THIER LIFE!!! So I have no idea whats going on...I think he thinks people will just want to drink and relax not attend a wedding reception while at a resort?!?

Thanks ladies, We are hoping to attend the Grand Sunset Princess or its sister resort Grand Riviera Princess (not many brides on here have been married there or are planning to) Since I most likly might have over the limit of xx amount of people there will be a cost I believe. I don't know if the money is the issue or not b/c my dad has offered to pay for the wedding part. However...FI has no done any work on this wedding at all...he HATES to plan things, so I have been doing everything, talking back and forth with the TA reasearching resorts, ideas for the wedding etc. I have falled in love with a lot of ideas and have invisioned our wedding day. He says that people are coming for a vacation and when in fact some might not have came if we weren't getting married?!? I know 100% his mom would be VERY upset if she didn't get to have a mother son dance! Oh and also they (my mom, dad and FI) we don't need a photographer that people can just take photos and my dads friend he is a really good photographer BUT he is by no means a professional! Ugg...sorry I just think everything is catching up to me...:S Again thanks for everything and I am sure in the long run everything will work out!! Even if I have to work my butt off to make it happen!! P.S. Mexico Beach Bride 2010 I LOVE your mongram!!

Okay I just need to vent!! My FI and I have been talking wedding stuff etc. Well he wants to go to Mexico walk down the sand say our Ido's and then thats all!! No reception no, "real" wedding stuff nothing. Basicly we would be eloping but infront of several people. There would be no point in getting a wedding dress how can I justify buying a wedding dress and only where it for like a half hour? I'm so upset because this is NOT what I want at all. I want to have the full type wedding, get married on the beach and have a reception/dinner do the first dances etc. He says "why would we go away then" Ahhhhhhhhhh.....to add fire to the fuel my dad is also against the reception b/c he doesn't understand why spend the money Anyways I just need to vent and don't know what to do. I only plan on getting married once and I don't know if I want to give up my dreams of a wedding or not. I don't want to have any regrets!!! Thanks for listening. Candice xx
