FI and i are paying for our 3 GM, MOH and 2 BM entire vacation so we are just getting them a few little things. FI got the guys personalized flasks and cufflinks on The Knot when they had one of their huge sales... 80% off everything I believe. For the girls I knew one of the things I wanted was starfish necklaces. I found them on the Kohls website for more than 50%. Just got them in the mail yesterday and they are perfect! I'm going to have to agree with everyone else that Rebecca is AMAZING!! She made my monogram in my signature for me last week and even worked with me to get something with the colors and style that were perfect for our wedding! I got my stargazers in there and I love it!!

soccergurl congratulations!!! that has to be a relief!! have you tried the forums on the dreams site yet? the woman baltobabe on there (like i know maegan mentioned before) is extremely helpful and can give you all sorts of details. also, if you search in there you should be able to find most of what you're looking for. i would venture to guess that their linens and decorations are probably more expensive than if you brought your own stuff, but i can't say for sure. definitely check out the forums (both the Dreams PC and the Weddings one under the "Q&A" section) and hopefully that will give you everything you need!!

i honestly don't think i've ever seen anything as cute as that huge fluffy head on that itty bitty body!! the name is great too... definitely has character! and i have to ask... do your parents' donkeys actually come when you call them? if so, that is amazing!

Dreams Punta Cana Resorts & Spas: Wedding Extras that has the lists of the extras... i think a lot of brides end up doing the free package and just adding the little things that they are interested in. you can have your reception at the places that happygirlmore mentioned before as well as the outdoor area of the el patio restaurant. i think each one of the areas has their perks and if you search on that dreams forum you should be able to find pictures and reviews of each of them!

first of all, it makes me feel good to know that i'm not the only one having to deal who has to deal with a baby momma from hell!! i think we all need to start our own thread where we can just bitch and complain about the stupid, selfish and inconsiderate things some women can do! at least it would be therapeutic! rest assured that you will be a much better mother and wife than she could ever hope to be!! it just seems like when it rains it pours though, doesn't it? also, get your FI on here if he needs to see how cost-effective a DW can be when you create a budget, have lots of DIY projects, find deals on supplies and travel, etc. make it sound like it will be fun for him too and explain your reasoning for not wanting such a long engagement. keep us posted and i'll keep my fingers crossed that he gets some BDW-sense knocked into him!

I think I've spent about $75 so far on my two BMs and my MOH... not including the fact that my family is paying to fly everyone down there! I got them handmade jewelry bags in our wedding colors with their initials, cute bridesmaid tank tops from theknot (made sure they actually wanted these first of course!) and a silver starfish necklace from Kohl's (65% off!!!!). I have a feeling I'll be picking up more things along the way... I love the ideas you all have come up with!
