  1. Dj Mijares, thanks for clearing that out for everyone once and for all. I really am glad that everything turned out to be mistake
  2. Hi Glamourina What a bummer, I know DJ Mijares is good and it's a shame that Dreams doesn't work with him. I would recommend you to talk with them and see if you can manage to squeeze him in; in case you can't there are several Dj's that are awesome too. I've had the pleasure to work with many of them and I might be able to point you in some directions. Good luck with Dj Mijares
  3. Hi Jo T speaks nothing but the true. Some vendors ask for a 50% up front, other for a non-refundable deposit, it all depends on their policies, Del Cabo is a great company you couldn't have choosen a better one. But 80% it does sound too much, I think that if you talk with them you might be able to do a 50%, like T and I do, but it is a way for Us, as companies to protect ourselves in case something goes sour. It might sound harsh, but I know that you can understand our point of view, I bet that if you talk with them, you'll work womething better.
  4. Hey there. What TAmmy and Vari said is totally true, vendors are sort of a daily issue here in Cabo, but they even have a schedule, after 16:30 - 17:00, they start paking and leave, since most people leave at that time. You shouldn't worry to much about it, you'll see that, they won't appear nowhere near you wedding.
  5. Hi Alexis I agree with the ladies, it takes them a bit to answer to your e-mails, after all, Cabo is a Wedding Hot Spot, so imagine all the work they have, specially on those months. But I'm sure it will all work out just fine, they're really good at what they do. Happy planning

Gaby Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your wedding. Dreams is such a wodnerful place to get married, their services are great and nothing but comments about Dreams. Now, the planning process is a bit stressful but still, good luck and enjoy the ride.
  9. Trish Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your wedding. You said it yourself, both places are amazing, and both places can provide you the most amazing wedding day you can imagine, ater all being YOUR day, you can make it as you wish. The phrase "The Sky's the limit" comes mind. Happy planning.
  10. Hi Jojo Congratulation on your wedding, RIU Palaces is a good resort to ge married at, nad i'm sure everyone in this forum will be more than happy to give you all the help you need. Good luck & happy planning
  11. HI Sara It might work better for you to have de wedding at dreams and spend the HM at O&O. The wedding at dreams will be great for a lower price and then, having an awesome stay at Palmilla would make it, simply one of a kinda.
  12. Hi Shorty I don't know how fast she might be replying to your mails, but you can try and send her all the questions and info you need to know in one huge mail, that way, she can reply the same way, one huge mail with all your questions answered. At least, that makes it a lot easier for me and gives me plenty of time to find out what you need and also come up with different options so you can judge by yourself each one of them. Anyways, I hope this helps, and still... Happy Planning, I'm sure it's just a bump on the road

    I need Advice!!

Hi Monica I agree with Bianca, the more specific you are, the easier it is for us to help you out with everything. If you're thinking Mexico (Vallarta, Can Cun or beautiful Cabo), 09/09/09 might be free, since it's a low season. Anyways, Happy planning
  14. Hi Tracy I just finished looking at the site Melita told you, and it has accurate info. The legal wedding done in Mexico it's considered legal all over the world, but if you want to play it safe, you can get it apostille, which is done in La Paz and it doesn't take very long. Sadly, If you're a needle heater like me, it's a must to get the blood test done in Mexico prior to your wedding, but depending on the lab, there are some people that make the blood pinching a bit more comfortable. Happy planning
  15. Hi I agree with everyone else... It all depends on your needs. Starting from the airline, the resort if its an AI or not and even prices vary from AI to AI, the vendors you pick, the type of flowers, the flower arrangement, if you want to have to rose petals on the aisle, the music, the cake, the Wc if you decide to use one, the number of guests you're having, the judge if you want a legal wedding, the ceremony if you want a religious wedding, or both if you're having both weddings... There are so many things... But the most important is you budget, having your budget established and let the WC know it is a great advantage, since she will have to respect that. The price for a Cabo wedding varies, I've seen & done different weddings, from 6k up to close to 100. But it always comes down to what you like, if you're happy, it means someone did an awesome job. Happy planning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Afita Congratulations on your up coming wedding!!!!! Let me tell you, Cabo Azul is a great resort to get married, in case your're doing a religious/symbolic wedding they have an amazing chappel with a great ocean view and the beach, even though, is not very swimmable it's a great option too. I'm pretty sure you'll have an wonderful wedding day
  22. Hi Dana Like Betsy said, there's no way around the blood test for a legal wedding. I don't like needles either, but I had to take them anyways, thankg God the Lab guy who took it has a great hand, since I didn't feel too much pain. Now, the religious wedding is just as great as the legal wedding and, if the minister does a great job, none of your guest would ever know that you were already legally married in the US or that you would do the legal wedding when you get back. I hope this helped

  24. Hi ladies. Yesterday I had a really hard time logging in to the forum, has nayone have that trouble too? or is it just me? It reads "Data Base Error", and that's it, but after a lot of trying and re-trying, I finally was logged in, just to have the same message afterwards; anyways, I reported it, but I just wanted to known if it's something wrong with the Forum or is it me?. Thanks
  25. Hi Shorty Actually, during the first weeks of november Cabo has a really cool weather, same for the last two weeks in October. For a beautiful wedding, I might recommend the last week in Oct or first in Nov, since the sunsets are prettier and the weather is amazing. I hope this helps you out a bit.
