Hi I just returned from an amazing 10 days at the ROR. The safes are a little on the small size. We were able to put my netbook and cameras and a few other things in there but it was a little tight.

I am getting married on the 10th too and EVERYDAY we are there it looks like rain.

I have to schedule a few vendors and I have no clue what time to pick for our ceremony. It is just him and I. I love the look of the sunset pictures but also want phots when the water is bluest which I have been told is in the morning. So what time are you getting married and what look are you trying to achieve? Thank you

Its definitely more expensive if you do open bar. We are doing drink tickets, more of a consumption bar. Actually compared to the customer i received from other vendors (none) they were the best, plus my coordinator highly recommends them. We are doing our welcome bbq and cocktail reception with them.

We are using Diane & we are staying at the villa renaissance. We are having our welcome beach bbq on the beach in front of villa renaissance. We are having our 2 hour cocktail reception poolside after our ceremony. Any questions please feel free to ask.

We are staying at the beaches resort ( 5 nights) with our guests and then going to the condo we will be staying at for the remainder of our stay (6 nights)

Kissing Fish in Turks and Caicos has a number of different options and will work out a menu with you.

There is a photographer named ali capron - do a google search he is less expensive than Tropical Imaging, he is just starting to do destination weddings so I am unsure of his experience. This was my dilemma too when we first decided to the island. Tropical Imaging will work with you though and maybe you can pay over time (that's what we are doing) versus trying to come up with alot of money at one time.

When I was getting married in St Thomas my coordinator highly recommended them.

I am also using Tropical Imaging for photographer. I am having Bay Bistro cater my Welcome BBQ the day before the wedding and our cocktail reception after the ceremony.

My wedding planner Diane from Island Harmony recommends Geraldine from Maxime le Salon for your hair and Ann for make-up (she works out of the same shop).

We each have our own checking and savings account but we do have joint checking and savings accts as well.

When should travel packets be sent? How far in advance? Do you only send to the people that have booked?

We are staying at the same hotel as our guests for the first couple days. We then move to another resort where we will have all of our wedding related activities and stay for a few extra days.

Karol question, how did you get all the stuff for your oot bags on island? did you bring them with you?

Soon to be gomez Turks is more expensive than say jamaica but its not as expensive as some other islands I personally have looked at. It really depends on what you want.
