  1. Welcome to the forum Trisha!
  2. Nibsmom- I was actually thinkning of doing the same thing b/c our ceremony is early too...I was thinking of just doing an extended cocktail hour, provided that they will replenish the food...I don't really think that everyone will miss the sitdown dinner since we're at an AI with 24 hour room service, KWIM?
  3. Congratulations! I hope you all have the best time ever!!
  4. Hey Anthony's Girl- I don't think it's tacky to ask people to bring their brochures with them BUT I think some people may forget them or lose them before coming down, so you may need extra anyway...depending on when people arrive, do you think it would be enough of a heads up to just place the brochures in the rooms? I mean if I were going to a wedding, I prob wouldn't make plans to go out right away, so if guests arrive early enough it might work out well that way...
  5. Yeah- it's happening to me too- I thought it was my comp and then it happened at work too. Hmmm....
  6. So, I found this fairly new company called Monogramwedding.com- they do save the dates, invites, CD labels and cases as well as programs. I really liked the fact that their invites have a flat rate no matter what design you choose, and every design is available in like 300+ colors at no extra charge...anyway I just got my save the date cards, which I customized with my wedding colors and a photo of my choice, and I just wanted to share! Here is the card and the envelope seal. BTW they also have really great customer service, so I def plan on using them for the rest of my wedding stationary!
  7. I have another quick question- has anyone had, or is anyone planning on having cupcakes instead of their wedding cake?? I just saw it as an option on the attachment but wasn't sure which is tastier or if there's no difference...
  8. Hey ladies- I was browsing their website and noticed that they have a finishing spray specifically for brides...seemd to be the same but it's also tear/moisture resistant and supposed to require less reapplication throughout the day. Here's the link: Skindinavia: Products: Bridall*Makeup Finish
  9. Hey ladies! I won't be able to do March 6th either, but I hope you guys have an awesome time!! Let us know how it goes...maybe some of us can do a later date with Kamila on a weekend...enjoy!
  10. Thanks for sharing Joni!! Congratulations- I'm so glad you had a great experience at MP, and I can't wait to see your pics!!
  11. Thanks so much for sharing Sarah, and congrats on your marriage!! Definitely let us know when you're posting your pics!
  12. Hey ladies! Does anyone know if MP has you sign something (like a cute certificate etc.) if you do the symbolic ceremony? I still want to have those pics and sign something since we won't be telling our guests that we'll be legally married before we go down...
  13. That is so awful!! I'm so sorry that this happened to you guys- but I'm glad you're both okay! Keep us posted- I hope they find your ring!!
  14. I would LOVE to do this! Kamila's package seems really fantastic! Sounds so exciting, and I've been hoping that there would be one in the area. I'm not sure that I'll be able to make the happy hour, but definitely count me in for the BD group session! Thanks for posting!
  15. So, I've searched every single post that resulted for Michael Maurus, but I can't find any photos that he's taken or a review of what it was like to work with him...for those of you who have used him, would you mind sharing your experience/pics? Thanks so much!

So…..how long did it take for you to find out if you got your date and time? It says 24-48 hrs but from what I am hearing they are not all that great about completing things in a timely manner. After we have our date and time confirmed what should I do or expect to happen next? Congrats on choosing MP! When I sent in the request for my date, I heard back from the Miami office within 2 days confirming that they had the date available and would put our names in. At that time I was also given a wedding booking number and the contact information for the coordinator in Miami (ours is Yudelka) who would be handling our wedding. I really do most of the communicating, and she always responds the same day, unless she's on vacation- but you'll get an out-of office reply, and she usually replies back on her first day back in the office. They seem really nice- she just sent me our contract and has sort of outlined what we'll take care of now, and what won't be decided on until we get our onsite coordinator...hope that helps!
  17. Thanks for posting these! I was just thinking about how cute they are when I saw the kits for sale in your other post...
