  1. Start with what does your contract say? Do you get a CD of all photos he took? I would ask for a complete CD of all photos he took and I would also ask him about the resolution, since I assume that was in your contract and that's a really big deal. I agree with others that I wuldn't be as concerned with quantity as with missing shots of important things, but one way to clear it up quickly is to ask how many photos he took and if you can look at them all to see if there are any others you like that he did not include.
  2. Congratulations - you will find lots of posts here to help make your decision. Good luck!

  4. Cabo, Cabo, Cabo! But I'm biased as I just got married there and loved every second of our stay. Good luck with your planning.

  7. I got married in Cabo and I'm biased - I vote for Cabo : ) Good luck!!
  8. Kris - if you're not worried about your body changing at all, there's no rule that says you can't do the fitting earlier - I was just pointing out that there was no need to decide undergarments and shoes in 3 days and rush to get it done when you have plently of time. Maybe reschedule for September/October so you don't have to drive in winter but have more time to decide what you want to do about undergarments and shoes. Regardless of when you do your first fitting, I would suggest bringing both types of undergarments to see what works best with the dress or asking if they have sample ones you can try.
  9. Can I just ask if your wedding date is next February, why are you having a dress fitting appt so early? You usually don't have your first dress fitting until 3 months before your wedding. That doesn't mean you can't go try on your dess and think about shoes, undergarments (bring a variety to try on or ask the dress shop if they have some to experiment with) and accessories. But they shouldn't be pinning and cutting anything this early, IMO.
  10. Congrats - you can find lots of reviews and info about all the Cabo resorts here - good luck!!
  11. The out the Mexico forum and search the reviwes of resorts. Though it will be hard to find a resort that will guarantee you 1 wedding a day unless it's a smaller resort. I think as long as the wedding isn't at the same time and you have your own coordinator, you should be fine.
  12. Welcome to the forum - congratulations!

  22. Just to offer another perspective - we got married legally in Cabo and it was not a lot of extra work. The hotel provided all the paperwork to fill out and I emailed everything to them in advance so I wouldn't forget anything. The doctor came to our room to take the blood tests. We always planned to go down early so that didn't matter and we did both a legal and symbolic ceremony in Mexico so we could personalize it. I don't think it's a lot of extra work, I think the main issues are cost and getting there early. Those are obviously big deals. Just don't let the red tape scare you away if you want it because that part isn't bad - we wouldn't have done it any other way!
