I have just heard about this site lightinthebox.com and is wondering if anyone has ever bought a dress from there?? They are really cheap, so I'm thinking they are cheaply made?!?!? I am looking for a TTD, and I don't want to spend to much on it... My price is about 200 tops. So this site would be perfect. Please let me know if you have heard anything about it.. Thanks

Thanks guys.. I've been emailing the resort, but they keep sending me the same wedding packages. I guess I just pick a package?? Then she might want to know what dates i'm interested in.? I feel retarted, like i should know this stuff. I thought this Destination stuff would be easy... I'm only at the beginging and I feel lost..Haha -

Good Luck with finding a resort.. I just picked mine three days ago, and have been looking for 6 months. I actually went with my first choice, the Gran Bahia Principe. We will be having a large group, and this resort has everything we are looking for. It's also very affordable. This Forum will do wonders for you!!! Happy Planning

I'm really excited!! After 6 months I've finally picked a resort! Grand Bahia Principe in Mayan. I'm still not sure between Tulum or Akumal, but at least i'm getting closer. I want the one closest to the beach. So, what do I do now?? I have a travel agent looking into prices, and I have two dates in mind.. Do I contact the resort right away?? Or should I wait for prices first?? We want May 2010, I feel like that is still alot of time, but I'm not sure what to do next... Any info would be great!! Thanks

I'm buying the dresses for the girls (I have 5) I also plan on getting them matching jewlery (earings and necklace) Body wash and spray from Victoria Secret, and a picture frame with a cute picture of us in it. They will buy there own shoes... I don't care if they match..

Oh ya, Does anyone know when the prices come out for 2010?? And when I can book anything I have no idea where to start.. We are also wanting to look into a different resort for the second week...(as our honeymoon) Is that possible??

Wow, I really can't get over how helpful this website is!! I love it.. Thank you so much!! I thought I was set on a beach wedding, but after seeing all the pictures, and reading about it. I think i'm going with the gazebo.. So pretty!! I think I'm going with Tulum.. But I'm not getting married until 2010, so I'm pretty sure I will change my mind again.. Thank you for all the info!!

Hi All!! We have just decided to get married at Gran Bahia Principe... I'm so excited!! So I guess I will spend the next few days reading through these posts.. One quick question, which hotel (if any) are right on the beach Thank you for all this info. I'm sure it will help me a lot, as I don't know what to do from here. Heehee

We plan on getting married in 2010.. Only because we wanted to give all our family and friends a heads up. But I'm getting frustrated because there are no prices for 2010 yet. I don't want to use 2009, because they can change so much... I also can't decide on a resort... We want the Mayan Riveria, but there are so many resorts to choose from.. My latest is the Riu Palace, but I have to do a little more digging first.. -

Do you know where I can find a picture of where the ceremony would be?? I've seen a couple pictures, but not many. The pictures I've seen of the beach ceremony were not very good.. I mean, it was really nice, but there was a lot of wood around the edge of the ocean, and I wouldn't want that in the picture.. I don't know where I was looking, or even if it was the same resort we are looking into... As you can probably tell, I am very lost!! heehee Thank you!!!

My FI and are having a really hard time choosing between the Barcelo Maya, and the new Azul Sensatori. They are both beautiful resorts, which makes it that much harder to choose. We would like the reception to be on the beach, or on the roof top at Sensatori. We need it to be affordable for both our guests and ourselves. We are also hoping for something romantic, but still be able to party, since most of our guest are between the ages of 25-35. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!

Wow!! This is the best review!! Dreams Tulum is now my number one choice.. (This changes on a weekly basis) I just have a few questions. I'm sorry if you have already answered any of them. If you don't know the answers, no worries. Does Dreams cater to bigger weddings?? We are expecting around 40+ not huge, but big for a beach wedding. Do you have to pay extra if you have a big group? How long in advance did you book the resort?? Was it pricey for your family to fly there? I think that's it for now. Thank you for helping me make my choice!!

Has anyone ever heard of honeymoonconsultant.com?? We have an appointment with them on wednesday, and I was just wondering if it would be worth it to hire them?? I'm not sure of the charge involved. I guess we will find out all the details then. Apperantly they pretty much plan your whole wedding for you. I think all you so is pick your colors, and agree with what they find for you. It kinda takes the fun out of the whole wedding planning, but it would probably be alot less stressfull.
