I am so upset! My veil just came in...I had ordered it online. I had thought that a veil was a veil and didn't even think to look on here and see recommendations...stupid...I know! I pull it out of the package and 5 of the pearls that were in a single row and inch apart all fell of onto the floor! The veil then feels so so stiff...I was worried about it blowing too much in the wind! Now, if he were to touch my back he would pull my hairstyle out! I mean it is ugly! I paid $74 with shipping and thought that was a good deal since my bridal shop is $250 for the same type of veil (fingertip length, 72' wide, 1/8 ribbon on the edge, with pearls 1 inch apart). I thought I could just return it...well I should have read that too...they do not allow returns on custom orders...so there is money out of the budget I don't have and no veil! DO NOT order from elegantgowns.com !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am from there! Either time will be great! It will more likely be hotter in Septemeber...but there is the hurricane season worry. In December it is usually low 80s high 70s unless we get the occasional cold front. Then it only is high 60's low 70's! Have fun!

I ordered off of Purse shop Ebay store. They were beautiful...they were very quick with communication and getting them to me! I believe they were $3-4 each. The more you bought the better it got or you could email them to see an additional discount! My confession is that I have come to detest my MIL! My FI has cancer and I have given up almost everything to be with him and take care of him...but she is still awful to me! The sad part is the whole family lets her behave like this! I however secretly cannot stand her! Also, we are just trying to get to the wedding date...and all she is doing is complaining about all the details and preaching about etiquette! I mean she should be happy we are getting there! Hey Guys! I am a little late on this! I have gained almost 20lbs. in the past year! I really want to lose it! My fiance has cancer...and you have to eat with him or he won't eat! However, I think we came to an understanding and I gotta drop it! I would love to drop 5 by Christmas and then keep it going with 5lbs a month! Then that dress will look the way I want! Hello Ladies, I am getting married on the beach...I have the chairs & rose petals thing going. However, I would LOVE to have starfish on the two front chairs of the aisle and 2 back chairs of the aisle. How can I do this so that the starfish will actually stay on the ribbon and hang on the chair? Also, is there a way to make it even fancier than that? I really want to do this myself...I am not as good as you girls...but I want to do small touches! Please help!

I am with you on this one! I gained 10 dating my finace...then another 10 in cancer weight (he has it...trying to get him to eat...you eat...not good)! Well, heck the dog gained 8 too during that time...so it isn't hard to gain weight! I am trying to get 20 off by April...but it is freakin' hard! PLease don't let it get you down! I think the fact that he makes you feel so comfortable with yourself that it is awesome! However, my mom lost a ton from cutting down on cheese and eating items with less than 10% saturated fat...and that is my new method...oh and walking! Good Luck! You can do this...we have been there or are there!

Okay, I was totally unsure of how parent gifts went...and since my FI's father is his BM...I got him the same gift as the other guys in the wedding party. So, going with my I want everyone to use their gift and not throw it in a box...I got our moms kind of the same gifts as my girls. I got the moms spa wrap (with monogram), tote bag (with monogram), and cosmetic cases with monogram in the wedding colors. I got the dads travel bags to put their stuff in...like deodorent, cologne, etc...and I was going to fill it with stuff that each different one likes... However, everyone seems to get their parent a frame or hankie...something memorable... I am getting them photobooks for Mother's and Father's day after we get back... Did I screw this up? I guess I can use the gifts for birthdays and get them something more traditional and meaningful..... What do you girls think?
