  1. Hi lgarner83, It's really rare when it rains in Cabo, but you may get some cloudy days especially during the months of August and September. It's really ahead of time to check for possible hurricanes of storms, but I lived here for 10 years now and I only had one big hurricane. This is the web page that I use, hope it helps. San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico Forecast : Weather Underground It has a "plan your trip" tool that could be helpful. Anyway have in mind a plan B in case of rain (inside a restaurant at the Hotel, or a Ballroom). Good luck!
  2. Try this web page. They don't have Los Cabos register but check "Mazatlan" it's in the same time zone. Hope it helps! Title's site PS. October full moon in Los Cabos is gorgeous, so see if you can fit your date in a full moon day!
  3. For what I learned in my past 10 years living in Cabo, is that Cabo San Lucas hotels are more expensive than San Jose del Cabo ones. So if you're looking is for an all inclusive check Royal Solaris or Presidente Intercontinental in San Jose. They also have wedding packages and maybe they can adjust to you and your guests’ budget. There is also a small boutique hotel in downtown San Jose “El Encanto†perfect for small weddings. You should check it out. The web page it’s not working but check trip advisors review. Everytime we’ve worked with them, the brides seem to fall in love at first sight with the place. They have a little chapel inside the hotel so might be what you’re looking for. 4. There are some restaurants in that list that closed already and some new ones that are missing. If anyone is interested here some links with updated information about all the restaurants in the area: The top 7 international food restaurants: La Ruta del Sabor - Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos Mexico Restaurants in San Jose del Cabo: San Jose del Cabo Restaurants and Dining Restaurants in Cabo San Lucas: Cabo San Lucas Restaurants and Dining Guide Restaurants in the Corridor: Cabo San Lucas Tourist Corridor Restaurants - Los Cabos Dining Guide Personally some suggestions: San Jose del Cabo: a) Tropicana - Great food, great service and check out the shows on the weekends. Live music. Zippers - Great BBQ ribs and Burgers. Big portions and prices. c) Casianos - Great experience! Here the chef never makes the same plate twice! Innovating and chick restaurant. d) Meson del Angel - Try the Tortilla Soup!, and break the diet for one day and have a desert, you won't regret it! Cabo San Lucas: a) Baja Cantina - Try Pistache Soup (sound weird but it's really good) La Fonda - Again break that diet and have the Flan de Elote c) Mariscos Mazatlan - For great sea food, try Mariscos Mazatlan. d) Tsuki - This in my opinion is the best sushi in town. Try currican roll (not sure about the spelling but ask for it) and the Serranito sashimi. Yumi! Bon appétit!

  6. If you're really interested in Salsa there is in Cabo a very popular show in a well know restaurant called "Rosalia de Cuba". She and her group are great, I mean amazing. She usually performs about 2 hours, she has dancers and a pretty nice show and she lives here in Cabo so you may save some money in the Air fares of the people you're considering in hiring. I don't know about lessons but it's definitely a high quality salsa show, my husband and I just love it! You may ask her if they can do the Salsa lessons, and it could cheaper that the other quote. Here is the Web page, hope this info is helpful. Rosalia de cuba ::Musica cubana ::Show cubano::cuba:: International cuban show PS. Check the videos!!!

  8. I'm sorry you had to go through that terrible experience, but it's good that you found out soon enough to be able to fix everything. If you need any help, let's us know. Good luck and happy planning!

It all also depends on your budget, because if you really want orchids but you're on a budget we can work it out.

I had heard that the Twin Dolphins hotel closed down, dis this affect the beach at all? Can you still access the beach using the winding dirt road off of the main highway next to the old Twin Dolphins entrance?? If we are not able to access this beach anymore, does anyone have input on a secluded beach close by, somewhere between San Jose and Cabo? Thanks so much for any information, ASAP! Hi Abbie, Both beaches, Santa Maria and Chileno, are still available for everybody who wants to go. The only thing that change is the entrance to Chileno Bay, but you'll see the signs once you pass the big bridge called "El Tule". Good luck!
  11. It also depends if you want San Jose or Cabo San Lucas (they are only appart by less then 20 minutes) and San Jose hotels are cheaper than San Lucas'. You may wanna check in San Jose the Crowne Plaza, Presidente InterContinental or Royal Solaris (All inclusive) or like everybody else sayed already Riu at San Lucas. 12. Hi everybody! I came across this site upon recommendation of a lovely destination bride I recently had the pleasure to meet and who found me thanks to this forum. Some years now, my husband and I decided to start this adventure, and ever since we wanted to distinguish ourselves by offer good quality and reasonable priced flower services in all the Cabo area (San Jose, Cabo San Lucas and the touristic corridor). Every bride is different, so every wedding is unique and we always felt that our work is not just flowers, but that each creation represents the personality and likes of a couple in one of the most unforgettable times of their lives. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions about flowers, business practices, or Cabo in general. After all, we've been living here for 12 years now! Good luck to everybody and happy planning!
