  1. We decided to do the legal thing here in Chicago. I thought it might take away from the big day, but no one really needs to know. It was $35 for the marriage license and it isn't actually official until your officiant signs it and you mail/bring it back to the court house. It just has to be nullified w/in 60 days of applying for the certificate (that's Illinois law...not sure about other states). I just didn't want to have to worry about any of the bloodwork, etc. when we got down there

  3. I always pictured wearing a heel or wedge...so I think I'm going with the 3 inch wedge. And I think I should be fine walking on the mat they put down for the aisle. Thanks for all the suggestions, ladies!!

I'm going to ask them to extend the platform so I don't end up standing on sand at all. I agree...I always pictured wearing some amazing heels or wedges. I think I'll be fine with the wedges since they put some type of rug down. Thanks for all the suggestions!!
  5. We're getting married on the beach with a semi-aisle. I was originally going to go barefoot or just throw on some flip flops...but as I think about it more, I'd love to have a bit of a heel/wedge. I bought a pair of wedges that I think would work, but would appreciate any advice Thanks!!
  6. Not sure if it was previously mentioned...but some of out guests that chose not to do the AI option decided to stay close by dreams at the Presidente Intercontinental. That way they'll be super close to Dreams:)
