Thanks for the info. Andi! They turned out so good, and when you said it ended up costing like $3.50/invite I was sold! I would love for you to send me your PP. If you don't mind me "stealing" your idea I would probably just change the info. and use your templates. I'm still new to this whole forum so how do I PM you My email address is [email protected]. My bridesmaids dresses are dark orchid (but they really look more like fushia). So we are going with vibrant colors. I'd like to use oranges, purples and yellows (I know, kind of all over the place, but it gives us more options). I looked on cardandpockets, but it's hard to really get a good idea on what the colors really look like. Thanks for your help!!

Andi Help!!! Your invites are perfect! I've been procrastinating at getting mine out, but I haven't found any that I really like yet. Since we are getting married at Las Caletas too, I'd love to do something similar. How long did they take to put together? I'm not very crafty, so is this something you think even the least artistic could do? Did you do all the wording/designs on powerpoint? Any special printer? Sorry for all the ?s but I'm on a time crunch, but I'd love to do something like you did. It makes it all the more personal for your guests. Thanks Andi!!

It was so nice to actually meet her and she made my decision so easy because she was so great! So I'm really glad to hear she took care of every detail and more for you guys! Congrats!!

Exactly...as long as you and your guests had a great time who cares about anything else - even a little fire! Thanks for all the details on Fernando and Barcelona Tapas! We are definitley going to try and book our rehearsal dinner there. I was talking w/ my FI last night about your incident with the DJ! I can't believe you had to go over there like 4 times just to get him to play from your playlist. This is something we've put a lot of work into and spent several hours and $$ on itunes so I hope he finally got the point. Maybe since you mentioned it to Nicole she'll make sure it doesn't happen in the future. Also, aren't the fire dancers always supposed to come out and suprise everyone at the end of the night?? I thought that's what Kelley told me during our visit. Anyways, great review and you definitely started getting me excited!!

Love the pics!! It looks like you guys had so much fun and you looked amazing! I especially love the terrible towel and pinata ideas...we have a few little ones coming so that might be a great way to keep them busy (at least capture their attention for a few minutes! :-)) I thought of a couple more ?s when I was looking at your slideshow: 1. Did you arrange a charter bus through Vallarta Adventures? And did they pick all your guests up at the hotel and bring them straight to the marina? 2. What Company did you order the fans from? 3. I loved the cake! I think you mentioned your cake in your review, but did you just tell Kelley/Nicole what you wanted and they took it from there? Thanks and Congrats!!

Thanks, Christina! I'm so glad to hear that he did an amazing job and you didn't have to do the trial. Is the quote of $220 correct for hair and makeup the day of? Did you also bring a picture of for your makeup...or just gave him a general idea?

Hey Andi! I'm also having Fernando do my hair & makeup. Kelley gave me a quote awhile back that was $220 for hair/makeup the day of and if you also want to do a trial a day or two before then I think it's like an extra $200 (I still have to confirm this w/ Kelley). I'm debating just having him come out the day of, but it makes me really nervous not knowing how it's going to turn out!! All said and done, it's a lot of $$, but when I think about all the pics, etc. it's definitley worth it to me. Plus, I can barely straighten my hair!! ~Brit

Yari - I loved your centerpieces! Are they the large or small ones? How many did you have and what flowers did you use? We are also using very vibrant colors, so those would be perfect. I know that a lot of people say the scenery/background is enough in and of itself, but I'd like to add a splash of color and a few centerpieces would help do that. Did anyone else have centerpieces or is going to have them?

Yari - Thanks for the very honest and detailed review. I was starting to get a little nervous while reading some of the other reviews...like something has to go wrong! It turns out nothing can run completely smoothly, so thanks for detailing that in your review. The most encouraging part is that through it all you still can rave about LC and would definitely do it again!

It looks like she does some amazing work. Did you use her for your rehearsal dinner too? We are thinking about it, but we might just save the money and just rely on friends and family.

Hello everyone!! I joined the forum awhile back, but I have been super busy with work so I haven't had a chance to check back until now! There is so much information here, and I'm getting really excited. My FI and I are getting married on March 21, 2009 at Las Caletas! We've been working with Kelley and she is so great. We did a site visit last June and fell in love with it right away. We just sent out our save the dates and so far we have about 20 confirmed guests. We're planning on having around 50 total. Rachel - I noticed that you were married around that time too. How was the lighting and the weather? I can't wait to post more info. as we finalize some of the planning!

Hello everyone!! I'm so excited to join the DW forum. This blog is the reason I decided to have my wedding in PV! So much good info. My FI and I took a trip to PV in July. We reserved a date at Las Caletas for the Ceremony/Reception...March 21, 2009!! If anyone is thinking about Las Caletas, I highly recommend it. We fell in love with it right away.
