Does anyone know what size battery the IPOD docking station takes? I can't believe we leave two weeks from today! So much to do.........

Quick questions ladies, for those who used your IPod for music did you need to also rent the speaker system for $150?

Did you use the one at the resort or someone diffrent? Oh and did you have your make-up done at the salon?

Hey Ladies, longtime since posting. I have been extremly busy, and finally just got a responce back from my last email to the resort on 10/31. Natalia wrote me back and told me that not to worry about my $500 deposit that they don't need it. And that I need to complete the forms she attached, which I already know that I have and sent back months ago. I am just glad that I finally got a responce. I am so glad evrything is finally coming together. Today is my final fitting for my dress, and we have to pick up our wedding bands. Does anyone know if you can have a cocktail hour on top of the big staircase?

Hi Ladies- It has been sometime since I posted but have been trying to keep up wih everything the last couple of weeks. Very excited everything is back up and running and the knot in my stomach has finally gone away. I do have a question though and I am pretty sure it has been addressed before but I am going to ask again. We are not planning on having a DJ but are thinking of bringing our own music burned to a CD, does anyone know if they resort can supply a CD player and sound system for us to use, and the cost?

Neen- I have a similar story however I wanted WHITE and got IVORY(bridal shops fault)! Oh well, still love the dress and with the way things are going with the closure and all, I figure what the heck, I am still getting married, and at this point I don't care if it is on the beach or in a foot of snow! I too would play it safe....

Question about the $20 bucks for the Chicken strips, I have 4 kids coming, can they count toward my 20 people included in my package or are they just extra regardless?

Hi Ladies- It has been awhile since I posted. I have a question, I received an email from Lizette asking to send my DEPOSIT of $500 to her with an authorization form she attached. If I remember this whole thing with deposit came up a while back and most of us were told that as long as we had a confirmation number we were fine. I emailed her back and asked when she needed this by and to date have had no responce from her. The email I received from her was on 10/4 asking for the money and I sent her a very quick responce back as $500 is not something that is just hanging around my FI and my bank acount. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten an email form any of the WC at the resort or if I was just the lucky bride to have received. When I told my FI he was not very happy!

I am totally at a loss for words! I feel so bad for all you, especially the one that are getting married in the next week. Big HUGS to all of you! I too talked to my TA today and she had no idea. She called her contact a DREAMS and she told her that they should know more by the end of the day today or first thing tomorrow morning. My stomach is still in my throat and of course I too did not sleep last night thinking of all of you getting married in the next couple of days and weeks. My FI keeps telling me that January is still along way off and that we will be fine, but there is still that thought in the back of my head, that things won't be. I am opening a bottle of wine and toasting all of the DT brides that are currently stressed out! Cheers Ladies! Hang in there we are all going to be alright!

I too am a DD, and am also wearing a courset thing under mine, I found a good one that not only slims my middle but gives the girls plenty of lift and support by the brand Wacol. Found it at Macy's but was a little more than I want to spend, but to find something that fits good you'll pay!

I too was also bummed that lots of people were not going to be able to attend, I was to the point where I was going to start offering to pay people's way so they could be there. That is when my FI knock me up side the head and told me I was nuts! He reminded me that as long as the two of us were there and we were happy that is all that matters. Besides he told me our partnet and your sister and her family are coming and that is all we need, anyone else is a bonus! Now I know why he loves me so much! Keep your head up, you will be surprised how many people you will have, we grew from 10 to 25 in like two days!

Hey Ladies it has been a couple of days. Sunbride I too want to thank you for everything you do for all of us, you have definetly gone above and beyond! I have actually been able to get a lot done in the last week. Invites have all been mailed, finally decided on shoes and have orderd and been told by the bridal shop that they are in! Here is what they look like Benjamin Walk Corporation also got more stuff for my OOT bags, have found pantd for my FI, GM and ring bearer all to wear. Overall the list of things to do is getting smaller and I still have so much to do!

We too are doing one per couple and one for evey single. People who are bring their kids I have bought kid friendly beach stuff, shovels, sand molds, beach balls etc. I think in total I have spent about $12 a bag. Love the dollar store!

Does anyone know the price of using your IPOD? Does the resort provide the docking station or do I need to bring mine from home? Do they provide speakers etc. I remember seeing it some where on the forum but now that I am looking for it I can't find it. Any help as usual is much appreciated!

Thanks to all for the info on the deposit. I too received confirmation through email, but nothing ever was mentioned about the deposit. I sent another email to Lizet today for more clarification and I am going to keep on her until I hear back from her. My FI told me the same thing until they ask, they are not getting a dime! Glad he finally said something! My Aunt offered to call down there for me on Saturday and try and get all my questions answered cause she is sick of me stressing all the time. But I got a phone call today that my BM dress is in, so my sister and I are going to go pick them up on Saturday!

Okay so I sent Lizet an email about two weeks ago, no responce. So I sent a follow up on Sunday night, just asking if she had time to review my questions. My one important question to her was when do I need to put the deposit down and when can I expect a copy of the contract. Her responce to me today was:"In order to book for you, you need to make a deposit depending the package you picked, WIP $100 USD DOL or ULTIMATE PCKG $500 usd." Okay that's great but when do you need it, how do I get it to you, and nothing about the contract! I keep thinking there has to be a less fustrating way to do this. Any suggestions would help. Can anyone tell me when you had to put a deposit down and when you got your contract? I need a drink!

Thanks to all for the responce to getting married before and/or after. My FI and I talked about it more last night and have decided that is way we are going to go with it. However we are not letting anyone know. It will be our secret.

Yes, legally married. We kind of want to do it so nobody know. I was just curious!

We got engaged on 6/28/08 amd our getting married 1/29/09. So if my math is correct it will be 7 months 1 day. We ahve been together for 4 years, and I so have baby on the brain it is not even funny! The shorter we are engaged thae faster we get married the sooner we can have a baby!
