Heading down to PV in three weeks to finalize arrangements and pick a hotel for our guests. We're thinking that we may choose an All-Inclusive in Nuevo Vallarta and then rent buses/shuttles to get everyone to and from Le Kliff. When we were there a year or so ago I recall the drive being approx. 45 minutes. Does that sound correct? Has anyone done this or received pricing? We're thinking that we'll have 80-100 people. Thanks! Welcome to the forum. My fiance and I visited Le Kliff the first day we were there and I must say you picked a gorgeous location. Stunning all around. Le Kliff is very far from the city and even further from Nuevo Vallarta. It will easily be an hour ride for your guests, if not more. We did the trek from the Westin in downtown PV and it took us 45 because there once you get out of the city there is only a one way road with no passing, so if you are behind a truck, bus or a car breaks down you will be delayed. I would highly suggest you consider hotels in Mismoloya or downtown PV. Are you working with a planner? If so, ask them for suggestions. Nuevo Vallarta is really nice but again very far. Charter buses are the best way to transport your guests from one location to the next. Hope this helps.
  3. We booked Dreams at $122 Deluxe and $156 for a Junior Suite per night/per person. All Inclusive. Couldn't be happier and I know our guests will appreciate it...especially those with kids.

I have pictures and can tell you more if you would like to PM me. Best Kathy We too visited with Lindsay and Adam and I couldn't agree with you more that they are a lovely couple, but the cost was far too great for some of our guests and where we ended up booking (Dreams) was more affordable, offered activites, spa, nanny service, room service, etc. and was a better fit for our all of our guests. I think it works well for a small party but not for a larger party. Also, keep in mind the beach is all rocks and the price is the same for all rooms regardless of location, which made it difficult for us to put anyone in a room without a view or near the kitchen. 5. Jumping in late here. I visited Playa and both Adam and Lindsay are wonderful. Truly a dream couple to work with. Problem is we really wanted to make it affordable for all of our guests, don't get me wrong, Playa Fiesta is for some but not for all. We visited the hotel and they gave us a beautiful room overlooking the water. We were for sure we would book. We did a tasting that night and the food was beyond delicious! The only reason why we did not book is because their is no beach (its all rocks) the pool is small and they only have a handful of lounge chairs, so most of our guest would not be able to just chill out all day. We also were torn with having all of our guests pay the same price but not all of the rooms had the same amenities. The room next to the kitchen is small and dark but is still the same price. There was also no activities except the ones your guest plan and that is additional funds. It was hard to not book, but we ended up getting a much better rate at a beautiful all inclusive resort down the road. Playa Fiesta is great for small parties, but if you don't fill the rooms you are responsible. Something we also thought would be tough. Hope this helps. Kisa

We are thinking of doing the 18 room block w/National Open Bar & Breakfast. When I had checked into it before (probably 6 months ago) I don't think they offered the Open Bar option, so that is great and saves a lot of money!! I emailed Adam 2 nights ago. I think last time it took him a few days to get back to me, which is fine. I'm sure they're busy with a wedding or something. I just hope that we can fill the 18 room requirement for the room block! I wonder what we would do if we couldn't... I am really set on this location so that would bum me out if we could go just because we don't have enough people!!! Jaime - June is rainy season. Many planners have advised against it. FYI
  7. Right after reading your post I made outreach to them twice and have never heard back. They seem a bit unreliable, but hey, some times you win and some times you lose. Not to worry.
  8. Thank you ladies. This is all soo very helpful! I think we shall settle on 4:30pm to allow for transportation from Hacienda San Angel to Casa Valerie as well as pictures. Thank you again. Kisa

What it DOES have, however, is it's located right smack downtown, it has both an indoor and an AMAZING outdoor area and the food is really good. This is their website: ZTAI Restaurant Lounge and Garden Puerto Vallarta Mexico But I don't think they have really good photos to show what they are. On the Malecon side of things they have an upstairs bar which overlooks the malecon. Then, when we go inside the bar and continue further back, their's this large open area with big tall trees and a rustic brick wall perfect for showing videos or movies or whatever and tables and sofas! Then, on the other side of the open area, they have their restaurant which is closed and has air conditioning. Anyway, just a different idea for a rehearsal dinner venue! Thanks for this! Have you been to this place several times? Can one host their rehersal dinner there? Looks like a club, but I like it. How do I make a reservation? I tried it only allows you to do 20 people and there is no contact or email address.
  11. Great idea!! Count me in! I know of another bride on Best Destination that is organizing a wedding in Turks and Caicos. Lets do it!
  12. A great website I stumbled upon lately: MyPublisher | Create your own Photo Book with BookMaker and receive a published hardcover book! which is good for making books
  13. OMG! I almost wet my pants when I saw your bridesmaid dresses!! You and I have the same taste. Truly. From getting married at Hacienda to this....I can't take it. Ok. Deep breaths...

  15. I heard back from Gaby at Dreams and she said they can do it but based on some of your feedback it sounds like the beach at Dreams is too small and not private. Any thoughts on Dreams vs La Palapas? We will have a large group of guests.

  17. Sunset in PV varies depending on the season. We're getting married next April and I'd like to know if 3pm is too early to have our ceremony if sunset is at 7pm? Ideally I'd like to have everyone seated by sunset, but cocktails to take place during. We are getting married in one place (Hacienda San Angel) and then moving on to another place (Casa Valerie) which I think is 20 minutes away. I'm curious to know what time is ideal to provide time for cocktails, photos, meet/greet, etc. Is 3pm a bit too ambitious? Kisa
  18. You are stunning!! Thank you for sharing. I'd love to purchase your veil style, but there are soo many to choose from and I'm not sure which one it is. Do you mind sending the style number?

Most WC will work with this place. Puerto Vallarta Villa Rental, Punta Mita Vacation Villa Rental , Weddings in Puerto Vallarta Mexico Agree. Casa Valerie is gorgeous. Casa Valerie can accomodate up to 150 guests. We're having our reception there and its affordable and overlooks the water with multiple levels. We're getting married at Hacienda San Angel chapel which hosts 100 people sitting and a few more standing.
  20. They will work with you on pricing, depending on season. We are renting it for five days and its worth every penny.
  21. Thank you for posting!! I'm hosting my reception there next April and so it helps to see how everything comes together. This is an undiscovered location that we found and I'm glad we did!!

I want to use quite a few but at a loss. Please help.
