Well, I thought I already had a dress. I ordered something online months ago and it is hanging in the closet. Not very bummed about that; I'll deal with that another day! My FSIL kinda pushed a bit (and I'm happy that she did) for us to go dress shopping. So...FSIL, FMIL, and a dear friend of mine went today. It was a better experience then I would have thought. Below is what we came up with (I have finally determined how to post a pic!). It brought everyone to tears (even the consultant). The pictures may not be the best, but this dress is the one for me. I was told I should smile and I put on the best cheese I had at the time...pretty bad. FSIL was taking the pictures and not sure what she was aiming at in the second one. Think she may have been trying to get the back and the front. Hopefully the wedding pictures will be better...lol!

I actually just went to one of these hosted by my FSIL and FMIL. There were 15 ladies total. We had to bring a dozen cookies for each person and one to share for the night. I had to make 16 dozen (1 to share, 1 for me, and the other 14 were for everyone else). Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. Each kind of cookie was tracked by FSIL and FMIL so that there were no duplicates. Hope that helps!

Thanks JUSTUSTWO - you did. I'm think of getting it because it will only be the two of us. It could be something to play during our AHR along with the pictures. Not 100% yet...probably should ask FI (although I think to him it really doesn't matter!)

So I too have the same price list and some questions also. It is only going to be me and FI so I am wondering if an hour extra is enough time, or do we need more? Also, I can't even begin to determine how many pictures to buy? Did anyone use Michael for a DVD? Was it worth it? Your opinions are appreciated!

Morgan - thanks for the calorie count information Lisa - the moon weight cracked me up. All said and done, I lost 6 pounds. I guess not too bad. Starting to keep better track of what I am eating so we will see what happens. Thanks for all the motivation and support ladies!

WOW Morgan - what a difference. Way to go Lisa! That is awesome! I did take before and after pics for myself and really see no difference. I am bummed about that. I also took my measurements and did see a small improvement in them (all went down - 1.75" waist, .75" hips, and 1" thighs). The weight is really hard to come off though....I am lucky to average a pound a week. I am regular with my exercise so probably need to look again at what I am eating. Does anyone know of a good resource to determine how many calories you should eat a day? I have stumbled upon so many different calculations. I would probably be in for another round. You ladies are very motivating and should all be proud of yourselves. 12 weeks would be fine and I think starting in January is a good idea. Hope everyone has a good weigh-in tomorrow.
