  1. great review Suzanne-it was very detailed! You looked so pretty! Congrats on being a mrs.
  2. depending on where you have your cocktail hour your guests can just get drinks themselves. If you have the cocktail hour on the lobby terrance there is a bar inside and same thing with the beach area
  3. we got married in May and the weather was great actually. A nice cool breeze every day. We decided not get married during high season because it was a LOT more expensive for our guests

I basically would like the raw video footage, an edit of the ceremony, and then an edit of the entire event. I couldn't tell if that was part of the Gold Package or if you would have to pay more for the Platinum. Playa Weddings just seems so clear about their pricing and it includes so much. Ahh decisions, decisions!!! We had Mike for 4 hours-got 4 chapters on the video... Chapter 1 was me getting ready Chapter 2-ceremony Chapter 3-beach pictures etc Chapter 4-highlights which was AMAZING!!!
  5. Mine is from last summer-I am not sure how much her rates have changed... BASIC VIDEO PACKAGE.doc
  6. I used Mike from Claudia's team and I will tell you this, my husband told me not to spend the money on a video=we fought about it and in the end I won the arguement. We got the video back a few weeks ago and he told me that he was really happy that I got Mike because the video was so amazing. I love the video and I have probably watched it 10 times. I actually watched it last week and each time I am blown away at how great he was.
  7. If you look on the Dreams Tulum thread Sunbride used them and her video is awesome.
  8. you looked like you had a great time! Elizabeth takes amazing pictures
  9. wow-everything turned out so great! Congrats!
  10. wow-I am so surprised to hear all the negative things. Granted when we were there it was the swine flu but I didn't see more than 2 weddings a day when we first got there. That is a shame. Suzanne-I am so happy to hear the weather was great

  12. Mine is half also-and so is my engagement ring-I saw it as a set. If you get it sized correctly it will not spin.

So far we're using the silver menu, but I like the main courses at appetizers on the gold menu better, we're hoping to sort of combine the two-- anyone else tried this? 18. Erin you are totally right with the comparison to Elvis. I grew up with MJ and LOVE his vintage stuff. I have a ton of his music on my ipod and there is nothing better than a little MJ to get a party started! So sad...Thriller was my 1st concert and I LOVED it
  19. I used Prim and Pixie for my invitations and they came out so great! They are awesome to work with! Your STDs came out really cute!

I wore flipflops to walk around in and then I just went barefoot for the ceremony. the sand is super soft around the canopy and it was great
