You will have to rent a dance floor from the resort or if you use an outside DJ they might have one you can rent. The music has to be over by 10:30 unless you are doing it in the ballroom. I am pretty sure that the wedding guide has all of this information also.

Ideally, I wish I could have it at the Seaside Grill but I'm a little uneasy about the music/dancing having to be finished at 10:30 pm. I know we could move the party to the Disco, but I feel like this might break up the festivities a lot. So I guess I'm still contemplating using the Ballroom but I can't seem to escape the feeling that if I wanted to get married in a Ballroom, I could have done that here in Ottawa. Hmmmm. Anyway, aside from mulling that over a lot, the planning has been pretty smooth! This forum has really helped me feel at ease. I feel pretty well informed about everything and I know not to freak out if all of the little details haven't been worked out ahead of time. You have 50 people booked already! OMG! I feel like all of our friends are so last minute. I think we are going to do everything on the beach-I am with you about the ballroom and being married somewhere local. Did you decide on a photographer? We just hired DJ Mannia for the reception

yea FH loves it-it takes a while for it to work but definitely worth it! My man is a bit hairy

I got my bikini done and love it. IT does grow back just not as coarse-the hair growth now is like arm hair. I would totally tell you to do it. My FH is getting his back done also

For transportation from the airport I was able to find a great deal on a van - $180 both ways for as many as 8 people so that's awasome and I would be glad to share that with anyone that needs that link. My FI and I are renting a Jeep Wrangler there so I was also able to find a great deal on that - $150 for 10 days there and I would be glad to share that link with anyone interested also. It's only 28 days to the wedding and 23 days till we leave so I am quite excited that I think almost all the arrangements are on their final leg A lot of travel agents can do something called a "price match" where if you see it cheaper online they can match the price. I looked at a website and after talking to my MIL a travel agent we both realized that the price did not include transfers and tax...I just felt much safer using a travel agent-what if soemthing goes wrong or your flight gets cancelled...that is just me and the way I work-I always want to be safer than sorry

Beach Wedding Dress--

Also look at Mora Lee and Private Lable by G...check out the thread "Show us your dress" -
don;t be worried about it! I am sure that you wont even notice anyone else there but you and your hubby

In my last email with Lizette she said that you can pick your location about a month before your wedding date-it is kind of annoying because there is another bride that day (at least for me) and I would love to be able to do it-also the invitations would be helpful

If I remember correctly Spring Break for most is in March

The resort policy is to only allow 2 weddings per day (supposedly), although I have heard of instances (perhaps last year) where there was 3 allowed in a single day. Don't feel too discouraged, but consider asking Lizet/Landy which days they have available in May and let them know that you have to follow the legal 4 day requirement. Perhaps that might be an easier route in securing a day since I know that May is pretty busy. Good luck! Hey Sarah!! How is the planning going?

you wont get spring breakers at Dreams Tulum-you are about an hour and half away from Cancun. I had to call the resort to get my date-be flexible because May is a very busy month. I am getting married 5/2 and I wanted to get married 5/16-tell them that you are open about dates
-
I would email the resort ASAP-May is a very busy month for them-also give them multiple dates that you could do
