Thanks for the link. I've actually seen those pics (and love how the cloudy sky looks), I didn't relaize it was the resorts photogropher. I'm starting to get nervous, I'm not sure what to expect from the resort, they say no photogrophers from Mexico are allowed and we can't afford to fly someone down and all the costs associated with that...... -
They are great! and they say to expect the magnet 2-3 weeks after you approve the final proof...but the whole thing actually took 2 weeks.

Ok, now it feels real...no backing out, as we've sent out most of our 130 STD's...Here are pics of them (if I do it right...) Front of the envelope (blocked out my aunts address) Brochure Letter I wrote (let me know if you want to know what it says and I'll copy and paste it) Actual Magnet STD from MagnetStreet : Magnetic Calendars, Calendar Magnets, Refrigerator Magnets, Magnetic Sports Schedules, Save The Date Magnets, Wedding Invitations - they were GREAT to work with!!! Back of the envelopes...two different monograms, we alternated...

Good Luck! I've been to Mexico, and stayed at a Palace Resort, that's why we choose it. The Moon Palace is HUGE. It's AI and is kid friendly, they have play areas and things for them to do. Most of the reason we choose the Moon Palace is because we've stayed at the Cancun Palace before, so we know what we're getting. And if our guests stay 3 or more nights, certain excursions are included. As far as avoiding crowds...Don't plan for a time when school is out! Avoid that week off in February (in NYC anyway) and spring break time/summer vacation. Try not to get overwhelmed!!!!!!

FI and I have decided to use the resort photographer, since brining our own would cost a fortune and we're trying to cut costs...but I am a little nervous. I emailed the contact in FL and she is going to be getting us assigned our on-site WC and putting me in touch with her, but I haven't heard back yet. Has anyone used them? Do you have any pics?

We have a 2PM ceremony....I know it sounds early, but the estimated sun set in Cancun in January is about 5:30, so it's more towards the end of daylight. And we have the rest of the day planned with things...Pics, cocktail reception, reception, drinking, dancing...
