we had the same situation with our resort, the group rate wasn't worth it so we decided every man for themselves. no biggie.

We are doing the same thing. We have our AI resort but we are using an outside WC then we have plans to have dinner at a local restaurant. Because we are on a very tight budget we are only paying for drinks and appetizers, our guests are free to order & pay for dinner themselves. So far I have not gotten any complaints and everyone has been very understanding about the money issue.

I have been looking into different boarding places around here. It's kind of scary because I have been reading reviews and none of them sound good. The closest Petsmart Hotel is 45 min away. I think I will make the trip sometime soon to check it out. Thanks for the great info!

I didn't get one for everyone but I bought some paint brushes, they are 2" from Home Depot, for our guests to brush the sand off of their feet after the ceremony. You can decorate those with ribbon and sea shells.

The puppies are so cute. ha, it's hard to tell who's who when they get on top of each other.

I have been really stuck on this too. Esp because my dad is not helping out what so ever & my mom is so sweet to help out with everything from making my invitations to paying for my dress & helping out with the ceremony.

I bought 2" paint brushes from Home Depot for 97 cents. The handle is a plain light wood with a silver plate. I haven't decided how to decorate them yet.

I think this is kind of expensive. Our photography is inclueded in our package. Bluegrass Photography will be doing our pictures. The cost that you would pay just for the photography with Kelly is as almost as much as we are paying for our ceremony. That includes site fees, officiant, 1 hr videography, 1 hr photograpy, flower isle, bouqet & boutonniere. I would shop around more. Oh I know! I'm excited & freaking out all at the same time. I'm just glad we pretty much have everything all set. Just minor details and parties to get out of the way.

I did buy my mom, sis, & stacy necklaces from etsy.com they are super cute. I like the spa idea i think I will do that too. Thanks for all the great ideas!
