I mean, she is 2!!! Alcohol is also covered in that price and she obviously doesn't drink! So I will tell them my final count is 24 and leave it at that.
  2. Welcome to the forum! You can find this info by using the "search" function as it has been posted many times. I also posted it here http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t37412-2
  3. Congrats and thanks for the review! Can't wait to see the pics and get the info for captain speedy :-)
  4. I wouldn't worry. Like everyone else had said, you are in the carribean and it will rain. My wedding is the day after yours and everything planned is outside. But if it rains, it rains...nothing much you can do about it. Just be sure to enjoy every moment!
  5. Thanks for the great review! I cannot wait to see all the pics ;-)
  6. Jill!! So glad you are back and congrats!! I hope you had the time of your life. I have been excitedly anticipating your review of the poolside reception ;-)

Has anyone gotten any feedback about the sound quality for a poolside dinner/reception with the sound dock? We plan to do poolside and I am worried that it may not be loud enough. We used our Bose outside this weekend and it is fantastic and so clear. But I will let you know in a few weeks how it goes!

Not many people have posted pics from a poolside reception, so I am anxiously awaiting yours! I know!! I will be sure to have lots of pictures! There were a few April brides that were having poolside this month, but thet have not posted yet...

At Michaels I bought the Fisker rotary paper trimmer (normally $39.99) for $23.99. Check out their websites for more info but it's a great time to buy all your DIY necessities! Just an FYI. I used the Fisker rotary paper trimmer (I think...is it the large circle?) and I found it to be...well not so good. I found that it pulled my paper a lot. Also, if you are cutting out fixed circles (ie. my circle monogram), it was virtually impossible to line it up. I had to return it. Not sure if it worked out better for other people.

  11. There was another post about this on here. I would search for it...but people have warned about doing it (a)because a lof of the butterflies die before they are released, ( if they are alive they are very lethargic and usually die soon after and © they are bad for the eoc-system.

I am sure one of your guests would be honored to announce you for the first time! My cousin is doing that for us. We really wanted to involve him since hes my fave male cousin (and the only one actually coming to the wedding) and he has become very very good friends with FI over the past few years. We really couldn't add any more to the bridal party (25 guests total - 10 of us in the bridal party!!) so we figure this is a good task for him, plus he has an awesome personality! I know 17 days to go!!! I don't know if I am nervous or not!

I didn't want people to be asking the DJ to play the elecrtic slide, macarena, chicken dance, etc...also I was a little unsure that I would like their music selection. I also refused to pay, what $350 (?) and hour for someone to run my IPod. So I just spent $300 on a Bose Sound Dock and called it a day. I think it also depends on your guest count. For us, 25 people with 1 baby wasn't worth the money.

If I am not planning, what am I doing? At least we have the honeymoon to plan!
  19. Well...I got my book order in just under the wire Should get it a few days before we leave and hopefully I can sneak it in the house. Hopefully this link works... MyPublisher | View your Photo Book, share and reorder.
  20. I think you should too! Mine is super long (I think 108")...it falls past my chapel train. I love it!! I also got mine on ebay
  21. I actually only bought them cuz they are cheap. I would have returned them but I missed the return window and I think my dog ate the large receipt when he attacked my wedding room.... But we got them all nicely in the suitcases in the end, and I guess if people use them and then leave them behind, I am ok with that. I will prob. give the rest of them to my friend for her beach house...or sell them here...
  22. It would be better in e-mail form as those are not too annoying! But these are coming in the form of texts...lots of texts!!! And I think that the constant buzzing is driving more crazy!!!

  24. Ayita, So glad things ended up working out for you!! You are a trooper through all of that stress!! BTW- DMB = Dave Matthew's Band
  25. We are bringing our IPod and Bose Sound Dock. I think we are going to rent a mic if its not too expensive. My cousin will be announcing everything and acting as our "DJ," although all of the setlists will be done so hes just announcing and whatnot.
