I researched a ton of websites and ended up using Wedding Planning Guide and Free Wedding Websites - mywedding.com. Our guests and I love the website. The best part is that it's FREE!!!

Ok I got an app menu from Yarai today. How are the apps served during cocktail hour? Do waiters walk around with them or is it self serve?

I am a little confused when it comes to cocktail hour apps. I asked Yarai about it and she told me that the appetizer I am picking from the menu is for dinner. She never sent me a menu for picking my appetizers for cocktail hour. How did you girls pick your cocktail hour appetizers? How many are you allowed to pick? Is it extra or part of $28 pp. Thanks

I am also using them. Lola has been great so far. Their prices were the best when I was comparing florists.

Hi, I am so excited. We are going to be doing our Dreams site visit during Thanksgiving Break. I will be taking lots of pictures and meeting with all of our vendors. Is anyone getting married that weekend? Also if any of you need to me to take pictures of a specific site let me know. I will post pictures when we get back. Sooooo excited!

Hello, I apologize in advance if someone else has a thread about this. I searched and couldn't find anything. I just found out that Dreams is in the process of finishing up a ballroom that will fit 400 people with a lounge/bar area for guests. I know that most of us are having a destination wedding for the weather and beautiful scenery but this is a great option for those that want to party till 2 am. I just emailed Yarai my WC at Dreams to ask if the fee is the same as having the wedding outside. I will let you know as soon as I hear back. I am going on my site visit in November so I can take some pics.

I am about to book my DJ but I wanted to make sure I am making the right decision. After reading past brides reviews I have come to the conclusion that DJ Ricardo is the most popular DJ in Cabo for weddings. I was just wondering what made him so great as a DJ? I already know he is very professional and reliable. He has done such a great job answering all of my questions through email. I want a DJ that does more than just play the music we give him. If that was the case we would just rent speakers. I want a DJ that will MC the wedding, introduce the wedding party, introduce the first dance, keeps the party going etc. Should I book DJ Ricardo? If you have any other DJ suggestions let me know.

Ana, I am so sorry you had to deal with this!!!! I am glad I am not using a WC after reading about your experience. And DJ Ricardo's rate for 2009 is $225/hour. I just got an email from him with his 2009 rates. You are doing a wonderful job planning the wedding on your own. The vendors you are using are wonderful and your weddig will be beatiful
