Was this still a problem for your guest, or did it pretty much get resolved? Thanks Salomeh! Most of our guests, including us purchased the round trip airport transfers. They were great! Got everyone to the hotel and picked everyone up on time. They are very organized and professional! I would use them for sure.

  3. Keep in mind for your trial you have to go to her, she doesn't come to your hotel. From Dreams it took us about 40 minutes roundtrip, and the trial took about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Our parents, friends/family loved our ceremony and your great sense of humor :-) You did such a wonderful job! I hope all the future Cabo brides on this forum get a chance to work with you. Go Steelers ;-) Love, Salomeh & Alex

There are little holes from where she pinned the flower. You can come by and look at it anytime. Here is my email address: [email protected].

Thanks Liz! My dress was by Alvina Valenta #9612, in Oyster. It has a detachable train which I loved. It was a little tight and hard to walk in so I bought another dress for dancing later on in the night. The dancers are called lunas de fuego, here is their email: [email protected] Be patient when you email them, it took them a while to get back to me.

Also, can you share some pics of your flowers and prices from Florenta? i know people are always asking about that. also, i am glad you reviewed yarai. i have had many people concerned because they do not read as much about yarai on the forum but i have to say to those worried about using her that she is really great. super organized and sweet!! Thanks Tammy! I still remember calling you when I had decided to have our wedding in Cabo and you were so helpful :-) Again, I can't stress how wonderful Lola was from Florenta. Her prices were amazing compared to all the other flower vendors and she was great to work with. The best way to see my flowers, cake, etc. is to go to Gilda's Pro Pictures website of our wedding: www.pictage.com/663811 My bouquet was $80.00, all purple roses. The BM Bouquet's were $45/each all white roses. Table centerpieces 3 at each table total $60, I had 9 tables. My total for all flowers was $1200, that included candles, rose petals, etc. Yarai was amazing as well! She is so organized and good at making sure you are happy. Anytime I asked her for something it would be done ASAP. She used to be a wedding coordinator at the "one and only" . If she is your wedding coordinator you will have an awesome wedding.

  15. Hi Michelle! I am so sorry I didn't hear you when you said "hi" to me, let's just say I had way too many Corona's that day. You looked beautiful and your wedding looked amazing. I loved your colors and the chairs. I can't wait to see your pictures. Gilda just sent ours yesterday.
  16. We got married May 16th, 2009 @ Dreams! Our wedding turned out AMAZING. I was a bit stressed right before we left for Cabo because of the swine flu craze but everything turned out perfect once we got there. We had 80 guests attend our wedding and everyone had an awesome time. We had guests coming up to us all week thanking us for having our wedding in Cabo. Here is my review: Dreams Resort The resort is amazing and I already miss it. We knew what to expect because we had done our site visit in November. The only complaint my guests had was that they were given double beds instead of a king/queen beds. Some of my guests ended up with really great rooms on top floors and others ended up on the first and second floor in just OK rooms. Some of them were able to change their rooms and some of them weren't. It was just frustrating because the hotel was only 40% booked because most people had canceled because of the flu and they still kept telling my guests that they had no rooms. Ohterwise everything at Dreams was great. I feel like the food was better this time around. Weather Perfect! Sunny, Mid 80's with a little breeze Wedding Coordinator @ DreamsI worked with Yarrai and she was so good. She was organized, got back to my emails on time and was just so helpful. I gave her 2 suitcases with all of my stuff and she knew exactly what to do with everything. I loved her :-) Flowers I used Lola from Florenta Flower Design. I compared her prices with a bunch of other florists and her prices were the best. She is so friendly and sweet. She is really good at emailing right away and her flowers were great! I would recomend her for sure. Cake We used Deena/Sweet Dreams. She used my wedding invitation for the design of the cake. The cake looked AMAZING and tasted great. We actually brought the top of our cake home. DJ We used DJ Ricardo. He was awesome to work with. I could email him about anything. Even weather and other things and he would email me back in 2 seconds. Him and his wife are so friendly and he is so professional. We had him play lots of Persian music, I gave him the CD ahead of time and he had it all downloaded and ready to go. We loved working with him! Video We used Jorge Ibarra. We haven't seen our video but he was so easy to work with. He is really laid back and funny. I will post our video once we get it back. He was great! Photo We used Gilda Badillo. She was AWESOME!!!! We just got our pictures back. Here is the link: www.pictage.com/663811 She was so good. She took us to San Jose for some city shots and she had us back in 20 minutes. She knows what she is doing and she is really fun to work with. Guitar player during ceremonyWe used Arturo. We didn't really get to hear him that much but everyone else said he was great. Hair/Make-up Suzanne Morales. She is expensive but well worth it. All of my girls LOVED their hair and make up. The fire Dancers We are so glad to have booked them. They made our wedding! Our guests were never the same after watching them. We only booked them for 15 minutes which was perfect. If you have the budget for it, book them! Our wedding turned out perfect! Our guests had so much fun and we were relaxed the entire time we were there. The frozen drinks really helped :-) I could have NEVER planned our wedding without this forum. Thank you all for your help and support. I hope my review will help future brides in Cabo. Please let me know if you have any questions. 18. Congrats! We did our site visit in November and the weather was AWESOME!
  19. Our wedding is May 16th @ Dreams! We are expecting 100 guests. I just got off the phone with my parents and a couple of their friends are nervous about coming now. Most of our own friends are still planning on coming unless they start canceling flights. As long as our close friends and parents are there that's all we care about. I am planning on taking TamiFlu with me in case any of my guests come down with the flu. TamiFlu is what they are using in the US to treat the swine flu and any regual flu. Here is a great article that CNN just posted. Regular flu has killed thousands since January: Regular flu has killed thousands since January - CNN.com Since January, more than 13,000 have died of complications from seasonal flu Worldwide annual death from the flu estimated between 250,000 and 500,000 I was relieved and livid after I read the article. The media needs to calm down. It's a good idea to forward this article to anyone that's buying into the swine flu craze. Crossing my fingers this will all blow over!
  20. We are using DJ Ricardo for our wedding on May 16th. We met him during our site visit and he was awesome! I also emailed with DJ Mijares before we chose Ricardo and he seemed really nice too. I don't think you will go wrong with either.

  23. We are so excited for our wedding invitations. I worked with a local designer in San Diego. She is awesome and so creative. Her prices are very reasonable! Our wedding is in Los Cabos, Mexico and our wedding theme is Middle Eastern (also Peacock feathers). Our colors are turquoise and brown. Here is a picture of our STD Magnet: Pictures of our invitation are attached (not finished), it will also include brown pocket. The designer's website is Get Carded - Ink and Paper Play Ghanaei 2a Revise 12 16 08.pdf
  24. We used a local designer in San Diego. I wanted something a little more unique and bigger than the ones I found online. Our wedding is in Cabo and our theme is peacock feathers. Here is a picture of our magnet. The designer's website: Get Carded - Ink and Paper Play. She can create any design you want. She is great.
