My mom and I are ghost obsessed we will call each other during the commercials or we'll sit on the phone and watch together! Eastern State is GREAT! Being I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia I've been there many times, we actually had to shoot an assignment there in college and I had numerous images with orbs in them. It's a lot more cleaned up now then how it used to be, which kinda sucks because the peeling paint and dirt floors added to the appeal of the place. Next time you're in town you'll have to check out Fort Mifflin, which I do believe they just did an episode there! I can be your tour guide! Valley Forge is super scary at night.....the cemetery is SUPER spooky even though you aren't supposed to be there at night....but it's just as eery during the day.

Thanks Alyssa! Yeah, someone has to be responsible here.... if you can't tell, I'm a little bitter.

PS.... She went for her genetic testing so we'll know soon where it is hereditary. Looking forward to that one!

I MUST know where you got the ties! I am a burnt orange and chocolate bride and I am having the groomsmen wear orange ties. I love them!

UPDATE: So I just wanted to post another update for those of you who have been generous enough to show your support... My mom's doctors have decided to ahead with the surgery before the wedding. She will having her surgery on June 20th at Penn. They found that the acoustic neuroma on the left side of her brain has a cyst that is attached to it that is 3 times the size of the tumor itself. They are afraid that the cyst will have a sudden growth spurt between now and the wedding. So here's the procedure... The will make a C incision behind her left ear and remove her inner ear leaving her with zero hearing in that ear, which is no big deal because she only has about 12% currently. They will then drill into her skull to remove the walnut sized tumor and the even larger cyst. Now why can't they just drain the cyst? Good question....there is tumor matter all around the cyst so they would feel much better if they just took it out. They will then fill her ear back in with fat from her abdomen. She will be the ICU for about 3 days and then upgraded, that is if all goes as expected. She will then need to be on bed rest for 2 weeks and it will be a total of a 3 month recovery. It all seems so easy, right? Well let's just cross our fingers that it is just that.....easy. Let's just say that when it rains it pours... While my groomsmen are giving me a hard time. Tomorrow I have to drop Tim off at County Jail so he can pay for his night of drinking and driving.... So he will be on work release for the next 90 days and during that time my mom will be having surgery. And I promised myself that I will try my hardest not to strangle the first person that gives me a hard time! Thanks for listening....
-
Ladies.... I hate to say this but if we go with June 22 I won't be able to make it. I just found out a few minutes ago that they scheduled my mom's brain surgery for June 20th and since she'll be in the ICU I don't think I should make plans. I had voted for June 1 but I could also do the 8th. Sorry...

Oh Edna! I am so sorry to hear about this! Seriously keep us posted about what's going on... Was the inner ear infection due to the flu? This is horrible, ear pain is BAD! I suffer from strep throat like it's job.....seriously it happens all the time, and I ALWAYS end up with ear infections and that's bad enough I can't even IMAGINE what you're going through....hang in there and get healthy! I'm thinking of you....

I was just like you months ago, heartbroken, hurt, angry, almost in tears --- but truly like these others BDW ladies had to tell me ... NO ONE cares about our wedding as much as we do. I tried to let that be my foundation, and it helped ... but the hurt feelings still remain for things that no one helped with, etc etc etc. Just remember that in the end, its you and your man and as long as you are in it together -- it everything will be perfect. And I just got back from my our honeymoon less than 24 hours ago so trust me! :-) You are absolutely right! Nor do I expect them to at my every beck and call, but I have done numerous things on many different occasions for each of them.....and while I don't expect the same treatment, I would appreciate some support or concern on their part. After all we chose these people because they were either a REALLY close friend or a family member and I just didn't expect this from grown adults! *****IMPORTANT NOTE TO MENTION***** My mom also has to have brain surgery for a rare disease that we only found out she had this January and we were hoping that they would be able to wait until after the wedding to operate.....but it's not looking like they will be able to wait! So now my stress level IS REALLY HIGH! They all know about my mom's condition too.... So needless to say I spoke with Tim's dad's wife tonight and she called my future sister in law, Tim's brother's wife. To which she called me.... I then returned her call..........and let's just say I vented! I mentioned NUMEROUS times that this was not directed at her I was just pissed in general. Well don't you worry........she yelled back and pretty much made excuses for her and her husband.....ranging anywhere from "our email is down" to "we're just really busy". This conversation accomplished nothing but PISS ME OFF more! I just can't win!!!!!! At all....and she kept telling me that I'm over reacting and that everyone has other situations going on..... REALLY? Who else's mom has to have brain surgery? Seriously what the FUCK? It seems that the offenders think I'm over reacting where the non offenders think I'm warranted in my rant......interesting aye! -

SHUT THE F UP!!!! You have got to be kidding me? I swear they are so not worth the trouble! Don't they realize that this is supposed to be about US and not them! My future sister in law just called me....but I'm just still to pissed to want to talk to her right now! I wished you lived closer so we COULD get a drink! -

I just stopped calling them and just said "the hell with it"..if they come around, great...if they dont, then i'm not stressing it, i know where I stand with them. best of luck to you...let us know what happens. I talked to Tim's dad's wife tonight to see if she could get his dad to take of his brothers. As for my bridesmaids I spoke to one today....and she's not really being a problem but she the most supportive other than my sister and said she would pass my feelings on....so my sister didn't have to! I'm still really pissed though.... -

I am going through a similar situation with my girls too... It's hard because you want to say "Hey you signed up for this, where's your commitment?" I doubt that his niece is going to remember that she wasn't there. But you'll remember forever that she wasn't there....priorities! -
Oh my oh my.....where to start? I totally believe that Ben controls the black thing! Sayid becomes Ben's avenger like in a previous episode when Sayid kills that chick and Ben was the Vet... Daniel Faraday....he knows a lot more then they think, but I feel like he's conflicted about what's right and what his mission is. The boat doesn't care about the survivors because everyone already thinks that they're all dead! They want Ben! I am beginning to think this is some rich man game between Ben and Whidmore. The question I have now is how do they know each other? I don't believe that anything is in the present (200. They are in 2005, Ben makes sure of that when he asks the lady at the hotel. I believe that he is suffering from the same flash backs and forwards as Desmond but knows how to control and use them to his advantage.... How did he REALLY end up in the desert in Iraq? He didn't charter a plain from Fiji!!!

Not at all.....I would ask them all!

FUN question! This is so great to see who everyone has met! My very first encounter with a celebrity was back in the days of Blossom! Whoaaa, it was Joey Lawerance! Since he a local, we were shopping on Black Friday and he was shopping with his family and my mom went up to his and said "my daughter thinks you look like Joey from Blossom, can I take your picture with her?" I was in HEAVEN!!! 14 year old HEAVEN! Then on my birthday in !996 we were waiting in line at the movie theater and John Popper (lead singer of Blues Traveler) was standing line behind us! He was SUPER tall and SUPER nice! Then my next encounter was in college during a photoshoot that I assisted in for Carney Wilson and Wendy Wilson, right after her surgery. They were really nice! A little demanding but nice! Then the following year in college we were in NYC and I saw Diana Ross.....now I NEVER freak when I see famous people......But I flipped OUT! I was screaming.....lol! One of my good friends' boyfriend is Jimmy Pop the lead singer to the Bloodhound Gang, so we a celebrity friend! He's ridiculously nice and not nearly as obnoxious as he appears on Bam's show! He's a true sweetheart.....she might be on here soon because hopefully they will be getting married soon!!!! I might have met some others but I just can't think of them right now....maybe if I do I'll add them later.

So you've justified that they aren't an inexperienced bridal party but do you think they may be a bridal party that's over all the wedding crap because they have done it so many times? Like they look at you as an irrational bride since they have the been there, done that attitude? Exactly!!!!! The been there done that attitude is REALLY coming from Tim's 2 brother's and his sister in law! Which sucks because this is there little brother's wedding! I feel like with the 3 of them specifically that they aren't taking this seriously.........WTF!!!!!! Is this there way of protesting? And as for having the groomsmen buying suits, we talked to each one of them individually MONTHS ago to see if this was something they could or would be willing to swing! In fact Tim's oldest brother was the one who piped up with......"I don't rent anything!" Ok! well, if you don't rent anything then why haven't you gone for your measurements? I to think that we've been more than accomidating to our bridal party! The only thing that I've asked of them is to pay for there attire and they're transportation. My one bridesmaid alone, because she has 3 kids and a husband we rented her, her own 4 bedroom house at $1300 for the week! Seriously, I don't think I crazy and have been a really lax bride thus far, but this has now put me over the edge! It all just really upsets me! Thanks for all your support. I knew I could count one you ladies! You ladies are the best! -
