Just for your FYI I ordered my steins from factory 21 on ebay and they have orders for 50 or 100. I received mine and they look great.

Its OFFICIAL the Riu Vallarta will be CLOSED for the month of October!!!! All of our guests will be moved to the Riu Palace Pacifico. It sure is an upgrade but Im feeling really bummed right now. I had my heart set on the Riu Vallarta and now 25 days before we leave the plans have changed. Im still waiting to see what's going to happen for our reception. Originally we were having our wedding in the ballroom but the Riu Palace Pacifico doesn't have one.

The Riu Vallarta will be closed until October 30, 2009 for maintenance!!! My wedding is in 25 days with 70 people booked and ready to go. I found out because I was looking for prices for my hairstylist so I went to the riu website and put in our dates and it came back with no available rooms for those dates so I checked on expedia and the same. Ok at this point I start freaking out because Jr has family that say they are going to the wedding and havent booked yet. So now Im thinking that the hotel is fully booked so I deecide to call our event coordinator at the Riu and no answer so I called the number on the Riu website and the lady told me the the Riu Vallarta will be closed for maintenance until 10/30/09. Hmmm ok "I have a wedding on October 20!!! She says you will PROBABLY be switched to one of the other Riu hotels. Ok now I really start panicking I call Jr and tell him the BIG news he calms me down a says try calling the Event Coordinator again. So I did I called and he answered he said that he just found out yesterday and has not contacted me because he wanted to be 100% sure that they are going to be closed and that if they are going to be closed that he wants to have plan B ready for us. The plus side of all this is that we will be moved to Riu Palace Pacifico which is a whole lot nicer hotel. We were about to send in our full payment yesterday but Jr wanted to take a last look at the contract before we sent it in. Now I feel that the best thing to do is wait off on the payment until they have an answer for us. I am patiently waiting for the coordinators call...yeah ok...Im so nervous as to whats going to happen.

I have the program in spanish sorry I cant help you there. I dont know if the price includes music but I do know that the flowers are included. We are having a mariachi for the ceremony so they take care of the songs.

Just how everyone has mentioned i would not worry about it. People will book. We thought we were only having about 20 people and now our list is reaching 70!! We are getting married in about 25 days. We had sent out our std in january and we did a group rate so about 25 people took advantage of it and the rest booked on there own. We sent out our invites in august and set the deadline to book by the first week of september. People are still saying that they are going but havent booked and the deadline has passed. At this point its frustrating seriously if you say your going just book already and if your not there is no need to front. Jr and i have learned from this and we will definately make sure that for future invites that we receive we will rsvp and keep our word. It is frustrating for a bride to go through this but noone ever knows until you go thru it.

Im flying United airlines and they have the same baggage policy as well. Im so happy! I was stressing about the whole thing too!

Congrats on the new home! We bought our house 3 years ago and it is so exciting. good Luck on the upcoming moments and cant wait to see the pics.

I am doing one per family and I still have no clue what to do for the single guys. We have 5 of them so Im open for ideas.

I started the teeth whitening on Saturday. I got the Crest strips advanced seal and they are working wonders. I can see the difference already. Im so excited!

You can definately find a pinata and mexican candy at the Mercado(the market) in downtown PV. Have you been there? Its close to the Malecon.

I loved it too...even though it was on a Sunday we partied until 2 in the morning!!

My parents had invited us this Sunday for dinner. They told us that since my grandmother was out of the hospital that everyone wanted to get together and have dinner. My parents have a large basement where we usually have parties at so thats where we were going to have the dinner Jr and I were debating on going Sunday morning since we were out last night really late. In the end we decided to go and wow are we glad that we decided to go. When we got to the basement everyone yelled out Surprise!!! JR and I just looked at eachother in shocked. It never even crossed our minds that they were doing bridal shower for us. There was ALOT of people there from my family and his family as well. It was really nice. My mom said that since alot of my aunts and my grandparents are not able to attend the wedding in Mexico that they wanted to have a dinner for everyone to share the moment with us. We received alot of gifts and alot of $$$$ which was great! We feel so blessed that our families got together to do somethng really nice for us.
