Hi! Thanks so much for this review! I am getting married at the hotel and I am nervous about so much! This puts my mind at ease. I have decided to use a TA b/c we have about 60 people all staying at the hotel. I emailed Micaela and she said that there was no discount for groups. But i had heard there was! Wierd. maybe she misunderstood. I will let my TA handle it now. Thanks again for sharing all this information - it will come in handy!

I just got my passport Save the Dates back from the printer! They look amazing...the pictures are not the greatest quality but you get the idea. I will post the templates for anyone to use! Thanks to BECKS and her amazing templates!!! I actually had a girl I work with (she is a graphic designer) do them for me. She found all the cute stamps and stuff. She did an amazing job! If anyone wants to use her, she will create a passport for you!!!! Just PM me.

Yeah my FI and I want to keep the costs down so we may have to scarifice the band...oh well. We'll see what happens i guess i have time! ;-)

Oh totally Rhonda! I am getting my STD's back on Friday from the printers!! ohh i can't wait to see how they turned out! I am working with a TA now, so hopefully he can ease my fears about booking the rooms at the hotel. Whew!

HUmm...now its making me think - we wanted to hire outside "vendor" Mirachi band b/c they are cheaper than what the resort offers...that might not be an option now...my FI will be so bummed. What about using Lounge furniture? Will they let someone else do that?? OR is this NEW policy ONLY at the Royal? I will have to ask Micaela.... argh!

Okay, so for the past 6 months, I felt like I have done nothing for this wedding except "book" the resort! I am getting married at the Royal Real Resort and since they don't require a despoit or send any kind of confirmation i still feel like its not offical. But now, in just the past 2 weeks, I have bought my WEDDING DRESS ( in just one DAY!) finished my Passport Save the Dates! (they are getting printed - I will post pics when done!!) woot! And I have contacted a Travel Agent so he can find me better prices for my poor guests who are freaking out about the rising airfares! (plus, he speaks Spanish so I'm sure that will help when talking to the resort! Whew! I am exhausted just thinking about it! haha. But I feel waaay more relaxed about the wedding now - it doesn't feel so overwhelming any more! And with Heidi's great review from her wedding this month there, i feel so much better! ( Thanks Heidi! ) I am really hoping this travel agent comes through and gets some good rates! I will let you girls now what I find out so if anyone flying from the Northeast needs some help I can pass along his info!!! Oh, and I finally "finished" my website! MEE TOO- B/c although i am getting married at the royal my reception is at the Gran... Micalea is my WC too!!!!!!!!! I was going to use one of their photoghers..oukr good friend is an awesome photographer so he is going to take a lot of pictures for us too! Sometimes his are better than what the photographer takes!! :-) Woot. Heidi, Did you get a group discount when you reserved all the rooms at the resort? Alex told me they did this, but micaela just emailed me back today and said no.HUMM?.....

I feel like they really should honor the prices when we booked! Now i am freaking out! OMG!
