I am so glad some people have run into the same problem as me! I have told him how i feel: special moment yadda yadda, but he doesn't care. Oh well he is just going to have to wait. As long as I don't talk about it he forgets. I am going to keep it at my moms ( she lives 2 hrs away) and then get it right before we leave. Wow - amazing how men make things so complicated! haha...thanks girls!

Has anyone ran into this problem? My FI wants to see my wedding dress BEFORE the wedding! Why? He says he hates surprises, but I told him its bad luck! I may have to keep it at my parents house and have them bring it down!! Why does he want to see it so bad?

WOW! So, again i haven't been on here in ages...I am so glad I booked back in Jan. before all these "rules" took into effect! Shay - it made me feel better to hear you haven't sent a deposit yet...b/c our weddings are a week apart and i haven't paid for anything yet. (which i know is fine but still makes me nervous!) i email Micaela every once in a while to make sure she hasn't forgotten about me - hahaha!!!!!! Also Shay have you ordered your wedding invitations yet? I haven't! Is that bad?? I am working on ordering bridesmaids dresses and looking into invitations this week.

Hey Girls! I haven't posted in ages! Sorry! I emailed Micaela recently to make sure she hasn't forgotten about me - and she emailed me back right away! Must have been a fluke! ;-) Anyways, I feel like I don't have much to do right now b/c i have so much time. I am starting to think about invitations but I just sent my STD's out in mid July so i guess i have a while...i just want to do something - haha. oh well...I am sure it will be here before i know it. Also, I am using a TA and it has been wonderful...she was able to get a better rate than what the hotel was offering...i think in order to get the discount you need to have 25 rooms booked all arriving and leaving the same day. I have people coming and going all different days of the week! She has been a life saver - if anyone needs a TA i can give you her name!!

What i meant by the 2 month "gap" is that my FMIL has known about my TA for 2/3 months now...he just gave us our rates a few weeks ago. I just wish she had mentioned that she knew someone then!!! She means well, but drives me and my FH crazy sometimes! Thanks!

So I found this travel agent that my mom's friend ALWAYS uses. He was great. He got me great rates. So I included his information in ALL my STD's. Then, after 2 months, my FMIL says that her friend at work is at TA and turns out she found cheaper rates! (only by about $150 ) but still....so now I don't know what to do. Do I tell my first TA that I found someone else? Or do i ask him to try and match the prices..but since the 2nd TA is my FMIL's friend I don't want to just ditch her since she was the one who found the cheaper rates. I didn't sign anything with my TA...but I don't want to be rude either! HELP! What do I do?

To get True boton Flava you should go to Boston Beer Works - Right across from Fenway. The north end is pretty far from Fenway - Opposite ends of the city - You c hop on the T if its not nice out, if its a nice day you can walk. You can always go to Newbury street they have lots of resturants - some are not too expensive. Charlies ( i think - has a great outdoor patio and Stephanies - a little more upscale). If you head out onto Boylston ( it runs parallel to Newbury) there are lots of places: Cactus Club, Whiskeys, Poor House...those are all inexpensive and fun. Let me know if you have any other questions - I am really familiar with the city.

Totally! Airfare to Cancun used to be like $250-300 from Boston, now its like double! Argh! Our "cheap" destination wedding is getting to be expensive! (we have airline vouchers we are using) but our family is freaking - they are still going but its just more difficult!

Shay, I jsut realized - we will be down in Mexico at the same time! I am leaving though either on the 5th or 6th. We should hook up at some point!

Hey Amanda, Don't stress. Miceala never gets back to me either! haha..but its all set. Don't worry. Did you send in your booking form? If not you should do that. I have yet to send in my wedding checklist but she said not to rush on that. I will probably send that in this week. let me know if you run into any problems. I have has numerous emails back and forth with Micela....what date are you planning on getting married in May..we are getting married on the 2nd!
