  1. I used frequent flier miles on AA to Cabo... I got nonstop flights from DFW to Cabo for 30,000 miles each. I booked it right on the website and just had to pay the taxes which I think were about $60 each ticket.
  2. I called and left her a message....so hopefully she will call me back soon!
  3. What I did was book flights directly thru American Airlines and then had my travel agent arrange my room. I usually find that AA is the cheapest from DFW. I also use Orbitz: Cheap Travel, Flights, Hotels, Vacations, Car Rentals, Cruise, Activities alot for travel.
  4. Kendra, I am in the same boat... I got one dress but now (only 6 weeks before my wedding) I am having 2nd thoughts!! Your not alone!! I am debating buying a 2nd dress and trying to sell the other one. If you use ebay you should think about listing the one your not going to wear on there to try to make some of your money back.
  5. That's true. Thanks. I checked my cell phone company T Mobile and its only .39 cents a minute to call Mexico, so even if I was to talk to her for 30 minutes it would only be about $12.00.
  6. Ok thanks. Question did you call from your cell phone? If so did you get charged a crazy amount to make the call??
  7. Has anyone called Mexico or more specifically called your WC at the hotel in Cabo where you are having your wedding? My wedding is 6 weeks away and I really want to call and speak to Yesica my WC and make sure she has all my information. We have been going back and forth via email but I want to speak with her because sometimes I don't understand her emails or think she is keeping track of everything. For example I got an email from her last night about something I thought we finalized 3 months ago and she was bringing it up again like we never talked about it before, I saved all the emails in fear of something like this but still it makes me nervous. Does anyone know how to call them? Is there an 800 number?
  8. Try Target! Isaac Mizrahi has an online bridal collection. I got my bridesmaid and flower girl dresses on here. They have really good prices and the dresses are simple and cute. I didn't want my friends to have to spend alot of money of their dresses since they are spending to go to my wedding. Parties + Weddings : Women : Target
  9. I am using Dreams Ultimate Package and I asked Yesica and they used Tomas Barron for photo and video. The edited dvd and 50 photos are included with the package, plus the cost for the photographer is also included in the package. If you want to buy all the pictures you can get them on cd and I think its about $400-500 for that.

The process takes a couple of weeks to complete after the wedding... Good luck!! Oh ok, thank you for the advice! I will call my local courthouse.

Congratulations and have a great time in Cabo! the weather is wonderful... =) Hello, I live in TX and am having my legal wedding in Cabo....so when I get back to TX I have to give a notarized copy of the marriage license to my local courthouse? I am also confused about this process!
  12. We vacationed to St.Maarten last December and absolutely loved it! You can rent private villas on the beach (there are tons), and the island is divided half the island is the "french side" and the other half is Dutch so there is alot of culture there and we just loved it. If I hadn't already booked my wedding in Cabo I would have picked St. Maarten for sure. St Maarten Information Portal - Home
  13. I would recommend checking ebay for the bare escentuals starter kit. I just started using it and like it alot!! I saved alot buying it all on ebay, but I did go to Sephora first to make sure the shade I needed to buy. I think the starter kit is $60 at the store and I paid $34 on ebay!
  14. Update*** We booked our flight, rental car and hotels today. We are flying in on a Tuesday and spending that night in San Francisco, then the next day we are going to drive to Napa and spend 3 nights at a B&B. We chose the The Inn on First, based on great reviews it had on trip advisor and we wanted a B&B instead of a hotel cause we have never stayed at a B&B before. It will be a nice relaxing getaway after our wedding in Cabo! We are Very excited! Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions.
  15. Congrats and what a great review! Can I ask where you got your wedding license translated at?
  16. Congrats girl! Hope you enjoy the wedding planning!

I have been looking for a nice ring holder!

Oooh that sounds nice. Let me know if you remember the name of the place Thanks!
  21. Can anyone tell me about how far Calistoga is from Napa & Sonoma? I am finding there is alot of nice places to stay there.
  22. Thank you all for the advice. I am looking at every place recommended and should be booking by the end of the week. I'll let you know what we picked. THANKS AGAIN!!!
  23. Yesica told me I will pay for everything when I check out. They bill everything directly to your room. I would call your credit card company before you leave and tell them you will be in Mexico and make sure they can convert any charges in Pesos to USD. If its a major credit card company it shouldn't be a problem. I have never had a problem before in Mexico when I charged things on my credit card.
  24. Does anyone know of any good websites that I can order some starfish, sand dollars and decorative sea shells from? I want to get some nice pieces for table decor. thanks!
