Hoping they would fit 9 months later (I got married in December). When I went wedding dress shopping, I laught when I saw very expensive flower girls dresses that didn't look better than the ones I got at Winners ! ! ! If you don't have a Winners near your house, wait in April and go to a kids store. They will have white + ivory dresses, I am sure (1st communion time) Thanks for the heads up on that!!!!! Did they have small sizes? My daughter is 2 and a half. Your girls are sooooooooo pretty!!! You're from Quebec!!! Cool!! Do you live in Montreal? I live in the Eastern Townships, about 45 minutes from Montreal

Who is paying for what?
LeXiee replied to amandalovesryan's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
FH and I are paying for everything ourselves. I don't want anyone to help pay for it.. Already everyone is paying their own trip to come to our Wedding. PLUS... no one knows we are doing extra things like giving them each tons of gifts etc.... everything will be a huge surprise to them. Oh and my FH parents' both work at the same place and the company closed in December... so they are both out of work. So I'm so glad we aren't depending on anyone to pay for our wedding. -

I spoke to a bride that got married there and she said Julissa recommended she tip the person $40us. Hope this helps -

Symbolic vs Civil ceremony?

It takes 10 weeks they said to get the marriage cert (which we need to get the symbolic wedding for free) so time is ticking!! Deb.... Julissa told me they don't need any documents to perform the symbolic ceremony.... we can even get legally married AFTER when we return from Ocean Blue. I spoke to another bride.. and Julissa never asked to see the documents. -
Symbolic vs Civil ceremony?
LeXiee replied to Carrie-Dreams DR's topic in Destination Weddings in Dominican Republic
We are doing a symbolic too.... we are saving about $1000 this way. Ocean Blue does not charge to have someone stand in as a ''judge''. But are requested to tip them $40. -

I also bought a kit from BeneFit called Realness of Concealness realness of concealness : Benefit Cosmetics I highly reccomend it. It really does help out a lot. The concealor worked wonders and I got many many compliments on my make-up. It also comes with instructions on what to put where. The thing that saved my day the most was the MAC Fixer. You spray it on after you put on your make-up and it keeps it in place and gives you a nice dewy glow. Well, let me tell you that my make up stayed on all day and night (and I was sweating my butt off). In fact, this is gross, but I was too tired to take my make up off before going to sleep and when I woke up my make up looked like I just put it on. It was amazing. So I highly highly recommed if you only have one splurge, you get the Fixer. Then the BeneFit kit. Totally made my wedding make-up easy to do and stay on forever. Julie!! Is there SPF in the makup (You were probably asked this question already.... but my eyes hurt from reading too much eheheh ) Thanks!
