I just found out I have a date twin at Dreams last week. I'm a little bummed but what can you do...

Is Friday always Carribbean night because that's when I was planning on having my welcome dinner? What time does the restaurant usually open? If one night is Carribbean night and one night is Mexican night, does that mean for those two nights, you can't eat anything but those foods? (I guess you could always order room service)

There is no way it is a 1 and 1/2 drive. It's more like a half hour drive if you go direct from the airport.

I read tripadvisor religiously and people lately seem to have a big problem with the cleanliness of the glasses from the pool bar? Is it really that bad? Should I be concerned? Also, are guests staying in the pyramid allowed to use the tower beach? What about the tower pool? Although not being able to use the pool would be understandable. Silly questions, but does Dreams give you toothbrushes? I'm trying to figure out if I need to throw one in the OOT bags.

Our wedding is scheduled to start at 5:00pm in July at Dreams Cancun. That's the time Daniella and Sol suggested. I wonder if anyone else is getting married on my date at Dreams...

We chose to have a destination wedding in Cancun because that's where we got engaged! Plus, we love going to Cancun and it's a great excuse to go on a vacation with family and friends.

Does anyone have pictures of the entrees? Since its obviously very hard for us to have menu tastings, does anyone happen to have any pictures of the food? I've already asked Daniella and I'll be sure to post them if she sends any my way...but in case she doesn't....

Gorgeous wedding!!! Your flowers are so beautiful. Are they the standard ones that came with the package or did you have to pay extra? Where did you get the bouquet starfish jewel btw? Did you pay for those centerpieces or did they come free with the setup? Congrats on your wedding!

Does anyone have pictures of the setup with the lights under the table that aren't promotional shots from the hotel? Does it really look that good in real life? Anyone definitely going that route?

I'm confused as to what people mean by not being able to keep the flowers. I know it would be hard to get it past customs, but I would like to have my bouquet for my TDD the day after the wedding. No one comes to take away the bouquet right? I'm confused... Also, anyone ever go with the chicken with peas sauce or the rum butter chicken? What does welcome bar service mean? Does that mean it is only at the beginning and there is no actual open bar the remaining hours of the reception and just wine available?? I hope not. If so, how long does it actually last? I don't know what I would do without you girls! Thanks in advance!

Knorris27~ did you have to ask for the bowls with sand and shells or did they do that for you automatically? Do you know what other free centerpiece options they give you if any? Does the pyramid building have elevators? What times do the bars close? I hear they close early; do all of them? Anyone know the taxi rate back to the airport from Dreams?

lucy106~ Are you absolutely certain those are your rates? Because my wedding is in July 2008 and I got quoted more.
