  1. there are quite a few people on here who are doing honeymoon registries. try searching the topic and you should be able to find threads. i'm using MyRegistry.com - All Stores One Registry ® http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t7897 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t7968
  2. time is going by so fast! i can hardly believe we have less than 5 months. and time is going to go by even faster since fi is the best man in a wedding in may, and i'm a bm in june... we'll be focusing so much time on other people's weddings and all of the sudden ours will be here. most of the planning i've done recently has focused on attire. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...kat/dress1.jpg my dress.. ok i bought this a while ago but i tried it on again today and i'm still in love http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...ekat/shoes.jpg just bought my shoes... $35 from www.6pm.com http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...ranunculus.jpg just bought my hair flower, but mine is orange http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g7...partydress.jpg here's my welcome party dress.. it's a calvin klein (just like my wedding dress, i'm obsessed) eyelet dress with little pockets on the side next on the attire list.. spanx, makeup, and welcome party sandals

It honestly would have been better had we chose to get married in the UK during the summer - we would have had more guests and we could have traveled Europe afterwards but its was so difficult as well. So I chose Fiji. I just dont want to have to deal with anything more. I think that if I was getting married in Mexico, I would have to either go to the JP right before the wedding or right afterwards. I dont know. it's not that it's really hard to get married in mexico... it's just that it's so easy to get married at home. plenty of ladies have done the paperwork and the blood test. i'm not going to be one of them either though!
  4. i'm planning on doing this and want to make some sort of sign for the table so guests understand that this is in lieu of a guestbook... what should i write? what did you write? does something like this work? "Please take the time to write us a postcard! We’ll enjoy reading your thoughts after our honeymoon." i'm totally blanking. maybe cause it's way past my bedtime.
  5. that's my fmil's dress.. i'm going out shopping with my mom tomorrow. hopefully we find something good- she's stressing!!!

  8. my dad has addisons also. he's been seeing an herbal specialist (my parents are total new-age hippies) and he's been pumping himself full of this certain tea and ecidopholus in addition to his normal med cocktail. we were definately nervous at first about how we would do with a dw but we're moving ahead. the big thing is just getting his immune system in top shape and being very conscious of the things that get people sick in mexico. for example, he's bringing his own ice cube trays to make ice from the bottles water, etc. my only advice is to not avoid this topic of conversation with simon's dad. millions of people have addisons and travel and lead normal lives. just need to be smart/strategic about it.
  9. update: in the past 2 days i- bought fi's watch ordered thank you cards and bought my shoes!

I haven't figured out how to wrap them up yet. yes, for throwing petals Also, what is your mexican guitar CD? I'm working on my music options for stuff to play before the ceremony. I also need to make some backup music for the ceremony incase my friend doesn't have time to record the piano music. we got it at target! you know that little self service cd thing that plays music when you touch the different buttons? there was a 2 cd set of all mexican/spanish guitar- it's perfect

  18. i'd choose thailand. but unfortunately FI is allergic to nuts and we're worried he wouldn't be able to eat too much because of all the peanut oil in thai food (going on the assumption that real thai food is cooked in as much peanut oil that american thai food is).
