  1. I did and hated it...I ripped that sucker off right after the ceremony.
  2. This is quite shocking. I use to work for Nutro in their marketing department three years ago. At that time, they were not purchased by Mars and was family owned by this sweet old man named Dave Tritel. Anyhow, their food kicked ass was the best on the market. Now with the buyout by a huge conglomerate who knows what's in the food. It makes me sad, cause I know the principles the company started on and this must make Dave livid.
  3. What an awesome review! Your honeymoon sounded divine!
  4. Shelley I teared up reading your thread. I am so excited and happy for you. You were totally my inspiration when I first joined and I loved all of your ideas and stole (borrowed) a bunch! You are going to make a beautiful bride. Congrats!!!
  5. That is soooo funny! I would just let it go, but thanks for the laugh. My crazy moment today was... I thought next weekend was May 1...so I shorten myself a weekend and I was super stressed cause I thought my BFF"s wedding was seriously next Saturday. Also I have a cut-a-thon event that I am doing for week the sunday after. So I was running around like crazy thinking I had a bunch to do. Then I talked to Brian and he said he was excited about Santa Barbara. I was like what are you talking about?! I am so clueless, we are going to Santa Barbara next weekend and planned it about a month ago, to just get away and relax. OMG, such a dumbshit...how could I forget an entire weekend
  6. You are going to have an amazing time! I can't wait to see your pics!

He is not my child so I think its wrong to tell a grown person that they are not allowed. Kind of like that whole "wives submit" reference in the wedding vows...... Very well said! This is probably going to come off bitchy, but I'm pregnant so deal with it. Also, this is not meant for the thread starter at all...just to the ladies who "told" their husbands they are not "allowed" to do this or do that and they have to get a mani or stay at the hotel and be waiting on their beckon call. WTF? Marriage is a partnership not an ownership...you do not own them, they are not property. If my husband told me on my wedding day that I couldn't do something and I needed to be with him the whole morning I would have fled the scence. Your poor FI's and DH's, they should run for the hills...
  8. I say go barefoot, so your dress drags a bit! By the end of my reception I was dancing in the ocean and my dress got super wet and sandy. Hey, it's your party go barefoot if you want too!
  9. I can't even imagine what you are feeling or going through. I am so sorry you even have to deal with this, unfortunately life takes us on a wild ride at times. Just take it day by day and think and why you are getting married in two months. I am sure it's because you are deeply in love with the man of your dreams. Try to remember this is your special day and it's okay to be selfish and think about yourself. You probably feel guilty feeling all excited about your wedding, especially when your sister and mom and so gloom. Just remember your dad is going to be at your wedding looking down at you from heaven. You will be with people that love and respect you and your future husband. This will be the best day of your life!

I appeciate any help I can get on this! Erica Erica I started to panic at the two month mark too. I would read the LC reviews, there is so much information and I found everything on the fourm..re: table numbers, decor, etc. Plus there are a bunch of handy templates...just use the handy search feature above.
  11. Thanks for this. I was looking at my arms yesterday and though yucky! I need to tone these puppies up pronto, if I want to cart around Siena without being sore.
  12. May I give you some advice? When I first started this forum, I was going to be a Cabo bride...after spending hours reading wedding reviews and looking at pictures for various locations I decided on Puerto Vallarta. This process took me around a week if not less. I highly suggest you go through this site and read, read, read. There is so much valuable information here. Unfortunately, when you post a thread like you did no one is really going to give you the information. We don't know what you like, where you been, budget, etc. People choose their venue for different reasons. So start your research now and find that perfect wedding location. Good luck!
  13. My first thought was no way, but then the more I thought about it I really wouldn't mind. The day of my wedding I was off with my bridesmaids, enjoying spa treatments and didn't have any contact with my FI. I was so wrapped up in me, that I didn't really worry about him (which is odd for me cause I am a worrier). LOL.
  14. Holy cow, you definitely had a crazy two weeks. I hope your life runs on a smoother road for quite some time!
  15. It honestly sounds like she is super excited to go on vacation. I think she is forgetting that you are super busy with planning the wedding. She also sounds like a planner, sorry she is bugging!
  16. No prob. I know a lot about pet food, so ask away.
  17. I worked for Nutro's marketing dept for two years and they do not do animal testing. Also, it's the best food out there.
  18. My face is so full of pimples it sucks! I never had bad skin and now it's a minimum of 5 zits constantly. Ugh! I now have a huge zit on my shoulder. WTF?
  19. I do consider myself religious. I definitely am trying to get to church more, but am not doing a good job at it. I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school, etc. I had a huge problem not being able to get married in the Catholic church cause my DH had already been married in the church. Needless to say it pissed me off, but rules are rules. I love the tradition of the Catholic church, but I wish they would loosen up a bit. I believe that people are born gay, that they have a right to marry, that priest have a right to get married, abortion is a freedom of choice and I used birth control. I am a liberal Catholic, but I definitley want to raise my children in the faith. I believe it gave me a good foundation regarding morals and principles. I guess they call me a cafeteria Catholic, I pick and choose what I want. At the end of the night, I still pray every day and I think about God all the time.
  20. This sounds awesome! Now, is it mostly for girls only or families a well.
  21. I love this thread. I too went on blind faith and don't regret a thing!
