A friend of mine used stamps to put a cute design on her's. They actually make some very nice designs now a days with stamping. Sounds like a lot of work though.

I was just watching it too! The food and service seemed sub-par though according to the food critic.

Oh yeah taking a cab is the way to go but be prepared for some scary driving situations. Drivers are constantly cutting eachother off and are notorious for driving within centimeters of eachother. My FI and I rented a Jeep last April and I screamed pretty much the entire time we drove through town. And if any of you plan to rent a car and drive to the Riu hopefully they'll have the new road done to take if you are coming from the north. They didn't when we were there and we had to take a back "ally" which was a one lane dirt road for about a 1/2 mile to the hotel through construction. The cabbies are quick though, they get you to your destination as quickly as possible! Plus you can bring your cocktails along for the ride!

Celery sticks with reduced fat peanut butter is one of my favorite mid-afternoon snacks. A good dip to go with raw veggies like peapods, broccoli, celery, and bell peppers is: 1 pkg light or fat free cream cheese (softened) 1/4 cup light ranch dressing 1/2 cup salsa Just mix together and enjoy! A good grilled veg is asparagus. Lightly drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill until lightly browned on all sides. YUM! My fi wouldn't touch asparagus before I grilled them like this, now he requests them and eats them like they're french fries.

I'd have to say I'm a lot like Tammy and Tami. I cook, Mike usually does the dishes. I love how he tells random people that I'm a great cook. I think that's such a nice compliment. BUT, anyone else have this problem...his mom tries to "one up" me! She'll have a gathering at their house and I'll offer to bring a dish...she'll say she's got it covered. Then she'll totally go overboard with the food. Funny thing is Mike said she hardly ever cooked for them growing up and if she did it wasn't all that good (like she wouldn't season the meat for tacos, etc). Apparently she got better! She's a sweet lady though and I love her to pieces.

Those are so CUTE! I'll have to check out Michaels near me.

A year or so ago I nonchalantly put a picture that I tore out of a magazine of a ring just like this on our fridge. Mike ended up keeping the pic in his wallet until he bought the ring for me last month! The picture is a little blurry...

Or you could take two different flavors of margarita (you pick one and your fiance pick one) and pour half of each in a glass. Like Mango and Strawberry, etc. You could call it the "J&J Fiesta"!

Pretty soon everyone in the gym is looking. People are digging through the dirty towels, the garbage can, everywhere. Still no ring. 10-15 minutes later I'm determined that either a)someone saw it on the floor and swiped it or b)it fell out of my shorts and into the toilet (although I thought I would have heard that happen). So pretty much I'm convinced that someone picked it up and took it. There's no way I wouldn't be able to see it on the floor. FI and everyone think I must have lost it on my run... but I KNOW that I had it when I got back and I remember taking it off and putting it into my hidden pocket. Just when all hope is lost (and my poor FI is turning purple)...I pat myself down (for the at least the fifth time), and I pull it out of my a$$..literally(almost)...somehow it ended up caught in the lining of my shorts right in the butt where I couldn't feel it. I was so relieved, but also a bit embarressed (one poor guy was still piecing through the trash)..at least pretty much everyone at the gym is 2nd family and they were just as happy and relieved as I was. Anyway..thank God! My FI has been using it against me all day...throwing in a little comment whenever he can. Now he says I am NEVER, under any circumstances allowed to remove my ring for ANY reason. Just thought I'd share my near heart-attack story! Susan!!! I'm also glad to hear you found it but think it's hilarious that there was still a guy "piecing through the trash" after you discovered it! And I love how you mentioned that you put so much faith in your little hidden pocket. I thought that kind of stuff only happened to me!

The only problem I can see with not having placecards is couples getting split up. You know, if everyone grabs a seat leaving one here, one there... I suppose guests would figure it out.
