  16. we do a date night or day once a week. most recently we have been doing theme dates, our current theme is cultural so we picked 8 areas of the world we want to learn about and then we seek out things to do that are eye-opening, interesting, entertaining or just fun. some examples that we have done are: Japan (we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival, an authentic Japanese street food restaurant, looked up interesteding facts about Japan (like we found out that the country produces NO natural resources) and watched a documentary about Japanese culture) Brazil (went to see a live band (Alo Brasil) they are awesome - it is like Samba and Carnival with amazing music, went to a Brazilian steakhouse for dinner and watched a show about Brazilian food on TV) there are so many possibilities with this one....
  17. yes definitely do - i can't wait to see them!! we looked EXTENSIVELY into P.R. as a location but decided against it for a couple of reasons - where are you looking?
  18. These are yummy and the ingredients are pretty healthy - i also like to make a version of this with a peanut butter cookie base and strawberry jam so they are like PB&Jelly cookies!!!! Jam Thumbprint Cookies 3/4 tub Earth Balance (3 sticks or 1-1/2 cups), at room temperature 1 cup turbinado sugar (or part sucanat and part turbinado) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3-1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash 7 ounces sweetened flaked coconut Raspberry and/or apricot fruit-sweetened jam Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together the margarine and sweetener until they are just combined and then add the vanilla. Separately, sift together the flour and salt. With the mixer on low speed, add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture. Mix until the dough starts to come together. Dump on a floured board and roll together into a flat disk. Wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes. Mix the egg wash and place in shallow dish. Put coconut in a separate shallow dish. Roll the dough into 1-1/4-inch balls. Dip each ball into the egg wash and then roll it in coconut. Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and press a light indentation into the top of each with your finger. Drop 1/4 teaspoon of jam into each indentation. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the coconut is a golden brown. Cool and serve.
  19. we went to a DW last year in Cabo and these were in our gift bags (the margarita one) - it was VERY cut but tasted like shit - everyone wound up throwing them out...obviously i don't know what the others are like but that one was pretty gross!

If this doesn't help let me know. i have to feed them like | because they are too wide for the printer the other way. it rolls so i will attempt it with the flap up and let you know! thanks for all the help!!!!
  21. we chose Molokia, Hawaii because we were not flexible on our wedding date (anniverary) and September is hurricane season in the Carribean and Coastal Florida and b/c of some family members limitations we need to stay in US Territory and most of all b/c it is unique, luxurious, an adventure and our group can buy out the whole lodge for 4 days!
