Interesting. How would that happen, when we were boarding? I did let them know that when I booked the flight, but wasn't sure how that works when they upgrade you... Good to know! The place I mentioned- Jolie Spa - started at $150! I think I would go for the cheaper version first time around to see how much I like them. I want to make an appointment for next weekend or during the week after. yay! I am excited to have long and luscious lashes!

hahahaaa, you shouldn't! You are like me and barely a child of the 70's! I was born in the 70's but a child of the 80's. Most of these didn't apply to me, but then the occasional one brought back some good memories, like The Wizard of Oz once a year.

crap the pictures didn't post!! I will try to upload the word document... IF YOU WERE A LITTLE GIRL IN THE 70'S... You had that Fisher Price Doctor's Kit with a stethoscope that actually worked. You owned a bicycle with a banana seat and a plastic basket with flowers on it. You learned to skate with actual skates (not roller blades) that had metal wheels. You thought Gopher from Love Boat was cute (admit it!) You had nightmares after watching Fantasy Island . You had either a "bowl cut" or "pixie", not to mention the "Dorothy Hamill". People sometimes thought you were a boy. You had rubber boots for rainy days and Moon boots for snowy days. YEAH! You owned a "Slip-n-Slide" , on which you injured yourself on a sprinkler head more than once. < /SPAN> You owned "Klick-Klacks" and smacked yourself in the face more than once ! Your Holly Hobbie sleeping bag was your most prized possession. You wore a poncho, gauchos, and knickers. You begged Santa for the electronic game, Simon. You had the Donnie and Marie dolls with those pink and purple satiny shredded outfits, or the sunshine family You spent hours in your backyard on your metal swing set with the trapeze. The swing set tipped over at least once. You had homemade ribbon barrettes in every imaginable color. (Oh yeah! ) You had a pair of Doctor Scholl's sandals (the ones with hard sole & the buckle). You also had a pair of salt-water sandals. You wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder really bad; you wore that Little House on the Prairie-inspired plaid, ruffle shirt with the high neck in at least one school picture; a nd you despised Nellie Oleson! You wanted your first kiss to be at a roller rink! PONG! ("video tennis" ) was the most remarkable f uturistic game you've ever heard of ! Your hairstyle was described as having "wings" or "feathers" and you kept it "pretty" with the comb you kept in your back pocket. When you walked, the "wings" flapped up and down, looked like you were gonna "take off" You know who Strawberry Shortcake is, as well as her friends, Blueberry Muffin and Huckleberry Pie. You carried a Muppets lunch box to school and it was metal, not plastic. With the thermos inside some were glass and broke the first time you dropped them. You and your girlfriends would fight over which of the Dukes of Hazzard was your boyfriend. YOU had Star Wars action figures, too! It was a big event in your household each year when the "Wizard of Oz" would come on TV. Your mom would break out the popcorn and sleeping bags! You often asked your Magic-8 ball the question: "Who will I marry. Shaun Cassidy, Leif Garrett, or David Cass idy?" You completely wore out your Grease, Saturday Night Fever, and Fame soundtrack record album. You tried to do lots of arts and crafts, like yarn and Popsicle-stick God's eyes, decoupage, or those weird potholders made on a plastic loom. You made Shrinky-Dinks and put iron-on kittens on your t-shirts! You used to tape record songs off the radio by holding your portable tape player up to the speaker. You had subscriptions to Dynamite and Tiger Beat. You learned everything you needed to know about girl issues from Judy Blume books. (Are you there God, It's me, Margaret.) You thought Olivia Newton John's song "Physical" was about aerobics. (?? its not??) You wore friendship pins on your tennis shoes, or shoelaces with heart or r a i n b o w designs. You wanted to be a Solid Gold dancer. You drowned yourself in Love's Baby Soft - which was the first "real" perfume you ever owned. You glopped your lips in Strawberry Roll-on lip-gloss till it almost dripped off.

Where are pics? Have I missed them in another thread? Cuz you know you can't tease us like that. Then last Thursday on my lunch break, I decided to go to a boutique by my office and try on a couple more dresses. The first one I tried on I just knew it was the one. I couldn't believe it. It was the strangest feeling. I just knew it! I hadn't even planned on going and I didn't have my best friend with me and I found it. I also am in shock!! Congrats to you and please show us photos of you in it when you get it!!

Table numbering or naming
boscobel replied to PaulaV's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
Lizz - where are they? I am catching up on threads that I couldn't access when the forum was having issues and saw this, would love to see your table numbers. -
Lisa, I love your siggy pic! (I am such a dog lover)
-
If you think she is cute, you should see her little brother. I am not a fan of kids - I tell everyone who ask when I am starting that "I like dogs". But these 2 little buggers opened up a whole new world for me! I just need to get some pics of Liam now on my work computer. But thanks, Jamy!

My ex always told me I looked like Kate Bosworth, which I take as a compliment. Matt thinks I look like Denise Richards. I told him, in his dreams maybe. I mean with Kate B, at least we are both blonde. Nothing in commong with DR. Here are some of my and I did one for Matt too. Apparently, I am pretty manly. It's funny too, cuz Matt has been told that he looks like Nick Lachey before. I don't see if, but that's what opinions are for!

Mo, you scared me, I was like holy shit is it already past Nov 9th! I am glad you got there ok. I didn't book 1st class, wonder if we should upgrade. Enjoy!!!

There is a place in Blue Bell called Jolie that my FI's cousin's wife works at. She was supposed to call me back with prices, but I think I will just call and make an appt for this weekend. Wait, next weekend, cuz the wedding I want them for is the day after thanksgiving... Quote: Originally Posted by Hopels I totally want this! Has anyone in the Philly area found a place?

I have never heard of perming your lashes! Boy this forum teaches me new thing daily!! I have never had one, but I know lots os people that it happens too and it is mostly from throwing up after partying too hard.

I am trying to do this now, kinda scared on who they will say I look like!

Congratulations, Lizz & Jamy! Keep up the good work, the forum wouldn't be the same w/o you!

Tara - that is beautful, it looks very similar to what I have been looking for with yellow diamonds though. I have only been able to find pics, not any in person. Good luck finding it and finding the right jeweler to make it. And congrats on the exciting news of moving states! -
Which BM dress do you like better?
boscobel replied to Leia78's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I really like the green dress!
